walls and roof are covered by singers and famous people.No cocktails,good alt and atmosphere.not glamour but nice.

The interior walls of the cafe is decorated with paintings of famous peoples. Like the food and especially the white beer.

lived in düsseldorf for a year and that was my “Lokal”. great small cafe bar, friendly staff and met some great locals during my time there. if I could bring it back to the united kingdom, I would

integrated pub, decorated with hundreds of posters and art prints. cozy and casual atmosphere. unique and friendly bartender/competition. it is the perfect place to hang around and have drinks. eating is in order, but nothing special.

we ordered some salads to arrive the old ones. at some (very late) point we were told that they lacked a cook. also the place looked very right, but there was a very loud group of students who ruined the evening for all others....The management did nothing about it. total: one night to forget. I have read some of the previous reviews showing that the cafe is overall not that good but I disagree! The whole concept of the cafe was amazing as well as the atmosphere with old posters, wooden furnitures and candles. The food was delicious, we...ordered chicken in sweet and sour sauce and basmatic rice. They have cheap coffee and drinks and compared to other restaurants the prices were cheaper! Strongly recommended!!!

I moved to Düsseldorf months ago, I found this place in the area I live Good vibe, nice music and all but I had to pay... we were in two total, my friend put I was checking for but had not,...I came with a in the meantime the bar tender took the and then the ten and gave me change for He took as a tip without saying nothing. Stupid me! I did not say anything, I was too astonished to see that unfriendly beahviour. I do not think I will go back again, if they are cheating for I can imagine he will sell his mom for less..

Well, it's great if you like rundown places and service is not important to you. The interior looks old and shabby, they intend to have it that way, it's practical because so they don't have to refurbish anything (like torn seats) or clean too much...(have seen nicer restrooms before). The food was awful, I got some pasta with burnt veggies sticking in it and it wasn't really like the description in the menu. Don't try to argue with the unfriendly waitress, it doesn't make any sense and is just a waste of time. I was offered a new meal but only if I paid both, the one I complained about and the new one.
