"We were looking for a nice outdoor place for a birthday breakfast in Neukoln and it was a shame we settled for Cafe Rix. The venue itself is attractive but we waited more than 40 minutes for a vegetarian breakfast. When we arrived we asked to see an English menu and it felt like the waitress flung it on the table and walked off. We got our coffees within 10 minutes but then waited at least half an hour for the food. The plate was simply bread, cheese and fruit so we could not understand why it took so long to arrive. The orange juice was not fresh and the coffee wasn't great either. Not sure why this place has gotten good reviews before."

I was here for dinner. The cafe looks beautiful but service is slow and it's noisy. Food was bland, served cold and with way too much sauce. Maybe ok for a drink but definitely not recommended!

The place was booked for a family party if over 70 people with buffet, mostly mediterranean and vegetarian. Great food and drinks. Beautiful room and a really nice courtyard for outdoor seating.

I highly recommend Rix for a relaxed Sunday brunch in Berlin. The service was friendly and the setting very chilled, which is just what you want on a Sunday morning. We went here for some breakfast and were quite annoyed by the slow service. Everytime we wanted something we needed to go inside the café to look for the waiter. The food as such was alright but also not breath-taking. The waiter situation made us stay way too long in that place and at the end I started to be quite annoyed by it. Still - food was ok - just need to work on their customers service!

During my trip in Berlin I decided to check out the restaurant cafe rix. My heritage is half German so i was looking for a traditional German meal my grandma used to cook when I was little. I need to admit the restaurant hasn't disappointed me at all. I've tried the goose with red cabbage and potato dumplings. It was more than delicious and exactly what I was looking for. The service was kind,genuine and spoke English really well. If I ever go back to Berlin I will definitely pass by that restaurant again. Always a pleasure!
