All'interno della fattoria un piccolo ristorante con la R maiuscola! Dal primo al dolce tutto davvero ottimo, cibo semplice rivisitato nel miglior modo. Sapori di un tempo rinnovati da una cucina all'avanguardia: grazie e a presto.

Siamo stati a pranzo in questo posto spettacolare il giorno di Pasqua. 10 alla posizione, 10 al proprietario e 10 alla cucina eccellente. Nonostante avesse un menu specifico per la Pasqua, era vasto ed era tutto molto buono. Complimenti sinceri. Visualizza piatti

Una serata fantastica e un ottimo menu ben presentato, rovinata molto dalla presenza di mosche vicino alla luce UV. Gli ospiti se ne sono andati e il vino era pieno di mosche. Abbiamo chiesto un risarcimento per la mancanza di cura e siamo rimasti delusi perché il proprietario ha rifiutato. Non vale la pena il viaggio.

Eravamo un gruppo di 6 persone più un bambino di 7 anni. Questa è stata un'esperienza culinaria fantastica. È stata una delle migliori pasti che abbia mai avuto in Italia. La qualità del cibo, la preparazione e la presentazione erano fenomenali. Questo ristorante ha una bellissima cornice di campagna, un servizio delizioso e un cibo incredibile. Consiglio vivamente il Calagrana.

L'atmosfera era meravigliosa, le viste erano perfette e il cibo era squisito. Onestamente il miglior pasto che abbiamo mangiato in Umbria! Abbiamo aspettato 5 giorni per entrare, ma ne è valsa la pena. I momenti salienti sono stati il soufflé al formaggio e tartufo, e l'anatra. I miei figli hanno adorato il fondente al cioccolato. We had read the review that someone said they would fly to Italy just for this one meal. We agree and I will return to Umbertide just to go to Calagrana. We went to dinner twice and had to force ourselves to order something new. Our favorites were the tuna veal salad, asparagus with fried egg and truffles, and basil risotto with tuna tartare. But what made it more special was Sophie, the chef's daughter who made us feel we were family friends eating in her home.

Staff and owner speak excellent English and Italian. Wonderful service. Restaurant also serves adjoining hotel. If possible eat outside with a 180+ terrific view of the valley. Seating inside maybe for 30? Reservations needed. Be careful with directions – it’s a bit hard to find. Cost for two people was €145 for two antipasti, two primi, two secondi, two dolci, many glasses of wine, one grappa. Lunch lasted from 1:00 to 5:00. Best dishes were antipasto of assorted fish. My wife and I were staying nearby earlier this year, exploring the area in advance of a family holiday in August with our children and grandchildren to celebrate a 70th birthday. We came for dinner on a mid week evening, and enjoyed the food, wine, relaxed ambiance and attentive, but unobtrusive, service from the Anglo/ Italian owners and their family. We were blown away by the wonderful cooking, and the choice of dishes, many of which used local seasonal ingredients an asparagus, egg and black truffle starter in particular was sublime.
