"I have been in many "italian" restaurant out of Italy and... with a lot of disappointment many were not (owned by people from different country- not Italians, or italians that do not respect the taste of italy), but this ... this yes, it managed to remove my scepticism in a smile and to finally to make me again to enjoy the taste of italian food. Very tasty the pasta of the day that I ordered (with the real taste of the product in it) and also the pizza was very good , with real italian prosciutto- ham (and not the plastic imitation that often you find in it). :)"

I went on a Sunday night for take away. Even though the venue was packed it only took them 5 minutes to make one pizza. It was quite good, average for Italian quality. Waiters were all italian, very nice and good atmosphere.

Probably one of the best traditional Italian cuisine restaurants in Cologne. Make sure you have a reservation as it is always packed and crowded. Best Italian value for money ratio in Cologne. Take a pizza, some wine or "Kölsch" and have a nice dinner with your friends!

If you are looking for a good Italian restaurant with good value for money than this is a great option. Food is very good and service friendly. Had the mixed starters, two pizza and a bottle of wine to sum up at less than 60 Euro. On top we got a grappa on the house (1/2 of a water glass !).

Caminetto is just down the street from Pane e Vine. My wife and I walked this street often and found Caminetto. It was a busy afternoon and everyone outside was eating pizza. I asked around and was told they have great pizza. We went back the next day for lunch and ordered pizza. It was fantastic. I would have gone back again but we had many other places to visit. If the other dishes are as good as the pizza you will be happy you dined here.
