"We stopped on Sunday for lunch, having been passing through Bondone and we ate well! It is the restaurant right on the pinnacle between Trento and Cavedine and its valley so it can be quite crowded, like today but by waiting with a little patience, we still found a place! The restaurant is inside a very pretty cabin, made of dark wood with a beautiful view of the mountains and the meadows that surround them and if the weather is nice, having lunch outside as for us makes everything even more pleasant! Obviously the whole interior is reminiscent of a cabin and therefore fits in very well, perhaps the counter should be revisited a bit but in any case the atmosphere in general is in line with the environment that surrounds it! The menu is varied and features mostly typical products from the area, to start we had some french fries: excellent, fried well, not at all oily, salted just right and super crunchy! Then I took the rice which has the particularity of being a carnaroli aged with mountain pine wood, served with local cheese and crispy speck: I simply LOVED it! Fabulous, the rice has a particular flavour, almost balsamic which makes it extremely aromatic but without exaggerating, very creamy creaming, contrasted by a spectacularly crunchy speck which gives a perfect crunch and flavor to contrast rice and cheeses! Then tagliatelle with game ragù, very good, al dente and rich in sauce, creamy and satisfying! The Big-Stecca with fried potatoes also met expectations: the medium-cooked meat was very soft and extremely juicy. The service girls are all very nice, friendly and handle rush hour quite well! The quality/price ratio is a little higher than you might expect, but the dishes served are excellent and the portions are just right. Mentioning the portions, the portions of the desserts are simply mouth watering: huge and extremely tempting desserts come out of the kitchen! Definitely worth the stop! Dietary restrictions: The menu is provided with a very well done and very clear legend indicating any allergens present in the dishes. Parking: Very large parking in front. A place known by motorcyclists and skiers who appreciate good typical mountain food but which also presents new and tasty reinterpretations in my opinion. The service is a bit chaotic but it must be said that the staff is very good at managing all the customers who crowd out every weekend. Circa tre anni fa ho iniziato a frequentare il Viote, in concomitanza con il mio trasferimento in Trentino. Era una meta per le mie passeggiate e brevi escursioni sul Monte Bondone. Durante queste scorribande, ho fatto alcune soste al rifugio dove ho potuto apprezzare alcuni piatti tipici locali. Accoglienza buona. Pazienza da parte del personale, sempre gentile e sorridente. I prezzi sono nella media rispetto ad altri posti simili. Amico dei bambini: Nei dintorni ci sono bellissime passeggiate adatte a persone di tutte le età. Servizio: Pranzo al tavolo.
