"Took my children for a day out to mary port and decided to have a meal.. well there is no words to express how delicious it was! The fish just about fitted on the plate! we all had different meals and all get the thumbs up staff are great too lovely warm and friendly place-we will return!"

Had a lovely meal here today. Great Fish and Chips, fish was beautiful. Great hospitality. Let us in with our dog and brought us water for him. The girl serving was great, very helpful and friendly. Thoroughly recommend.

Just spent the weekend in Maryport with a group of friends and Captain Nelson was definitely our favourite pub. Great surroundings and Fab Food. Really friendly staff especially James who looked after us brilliantly. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon.
