Cast Iron Grill - Menu

My husband and I ate at the Cast Iron Grill two days in a row. The food was yummy and the staff were friendly!

Lovely food in aovely atmosphere. Staff were very friendly. Steak cooked perfectly. Small menu but lovely choices.

The meal I received did not live up to the description on the menu, which was disappointing considering the usual high standards of Marriott St. Pierre.

Good service, good food, wide choice of menu. Being a family of six it offers a good choice for all. Self service all you can eat breakfasts good view over golf course and attentive staff.

The food at this restaurant was just okay, with a limited menu and slightly high prices. The staff was friendly and there was ample space between tables for COVID safety measures. However, some guests chose to ignore the face mask requirement.

I was blown away from the beautiful historic building where the cast iron is located! I decided to skip the starter and just went for the head. within 10 minutes I had my lunch. I went for a sirloin steak with a side of Hiumi-Fries. the steak was cooked to perfection and the halloumi fries were gooey in the middle and crispy on the outside. the service was on no one and all waiters were attentive and friendly.

Having read the reviews we went to Sunday Lunch with low expectations which, fortunately, were wrong. On arrival we were quickly greeted by Gemma who was warm and welcoming. The room is large but well decorated. The restaurant operates as a carvery on a Sunday and there was an excellent choice of starters, mains, dessert and cheese. We had the beef which was nicely cooked and an amazing selection of vegetables. The only negative was that the Yorkshire puddings were cold. I had the house white and husband had house red both were good. We came away feeling we had received good value for money and we will certainly go back.

The brasserie located within St Pierre Country Club, now known as Morgan's, provided a very casual dining experience. Although we were promptly greeted, the service was slow. The menu options were limited due to the holiday season between Christmas and New Year's. Our party of three ordered Chicken Liver Parfait and Beetroot Carpaccio with goats cheese for starters. Due to a shortage of pistachios, walnuts were offered as a substitute, which caused a minor inconvenience. The starters arrived before our drinks, but this issue was quickly rectified. I found my Pumpkin and Sage Ravioli to be a bit dry, lacking butter or oil. My husband and daughter ordered steak, which was served without sides...
