Causeway Bar Restaurant

this hotel is located on the giant’s causeway, so the location is perfect. the rooms were clean and comfortable. bed was comfortable. beautiful bar and restaurant. friendly staff.

I was treated today to a really lovely, fresh, homemade, tasty lunch. A beautiful traditional hotel with excellent service and total adherence to COVID regulations. I was even ‘persuaded’ to have the ‘bestest ever’ banoffee pie……heavenly! Thankyou real proper hospitality.

before we were here and the food was great. this time it wasn't even average. the chicken was dry and over boiled, potato masquel was so dry it could hardly swallow. suppe was only warm and white bread tasted stale. very disappointing. would not go back...and recommend that they go, we are not worse than here

We had an impromptu lunch here and were really impressed at the service. The server was well versed on what could be made gluten free for my coeliac daughter and was very flexible in allowing an adult portion of something off the children's menu for...my husband. Then when a sauce was thought to be unsuitable they made a different sauce which was gluten free specially. The food was all top notch.

A delightful hotel with good old fashioned courtesy and service. The lunch I had there was excellent even though I am a vegan. The dining room is very comfortable and cosy and I was loath to leave its old fashioned splendor. I was only sorry...that I could not stay the night as I was on my way to an event some distance away. The five stars I gave the hotel were based on the lovely lunch, the cosy atmosphere and the excellent staff.

Love this place and so happy it has reopened. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Stayed with the winter warmer deal. Felt really safe, the hotel has excellent measures put in place. Staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble! Food was delicious and of...a high standard, dined in restaurant both evenings. If you love the outdoors this place is for you. Would highly recommend a mini break stay cation, you won’t regret it!

only from 2 days winter warmer...an old traditional hotel with many good points. the staff was excellent..so friendly, welcoming and helpful.our room (32) was very spacious, and well decorated, but extremely cold (also at mild nov days.had request additional heatsinks...then, unfortunately the food..Fresh...fine...but this evening meal!.so was looking forward to a pleasant evening meal with my wife, but was so disappointed. starter and dessert were great, but main courses!.hardly edible. yes, in a lot of sight pleasant, but these important details must be visited. would love to return, but!

we had a group of 18 and had lost our reservation in another restaurant. I'm so happy we did it. this restaurant was happy to help. everyone has swung around his meal. all employees have made us feel like family. they opened a section. the restaurant for us and dang it was nice! some of us ordered the fish and the chips and we were ready to compare it with the famous places we ordered before. that was squid and chips and the coating is so light and crisp while the fish is so fresh. the chips are thick cut and perfected. if they are looking for the fish and chips experience of their life. that's your place. we had beautiful wine-selections and Irish coffee that was heaven. our cheeseboard sta...

The Causeway hotel is right next to the Giants Causeway visitors centre. The room was a good size. The room we had was not a sea view room despite this, you could still see the sea! All be it, a restricted view. There is no...lift but the hotel is only on two levels. We had a phone call before arrival to check if we wanted to book a table for our evening meal. The lady was very pleasant and I thought the phone call was a nice touch. Evening meal was delicious, service was excellent. Breakfast was also delicious with plenty of choice. It's the nicest hotel I've stayed in for a long time. I'm usually disappointed in some way when I stay at a hotel! The Causeway hotel was better than I expected...
