"The room is very pretty, the setting pleasant with the possibility of eating on the terrace. The meal is good value for money. A little disappointed with the foie gras. Good parmentier of duck confit, nothing more. Walnut creme brulee has a great nutty taste, so don't take it if you want the classic creme brulee taste. Personally, I like walnuts, so I liked it, but some of the guests were disappointed. My meal (starter main course dessert) came to €21, foie gras supplement included. Enjoy your food !"

"restaurant too expensive compared to quality. service: smiling staff but lack of attention; forced to ask for water, after a 10 minute wait I.suis went to ask for bread at the counter, instead of me.say we take it to you I had the impression of disturbing and a person went to the kitchen to cut it to me. And.I went back with .... the plate of the sock: dry lamb too cooked, I think it was warmed no interest. the foie gras, 1cm on 4 cm good but very little, duck needles nothing.to say good cmeq those in supermarket, and 22 euros the dish. by o against their ice is good fragrant craft."

"We were recommended to this restaurant and we decided to go there for lunch. We descended on the place at about 1-1.15pm as a group of 8 and I must admit the proprietors did look a little concerned about both the time and the number of our group. First piece of advice - if you are going, I would recommend going earlier than we did! Having said that, our late arrival affected neither the quality of the food nor their friendliness. Secondly, leave plenty of time to enjoy the food and make sure that you are hungry when you go! Our meal was the Plat du Jour with no menu but we needn't have worried. A very tasty vegetable soup was followed by a beef bourguignon which was about as succulent and delicious as I have ever tasted. Not to mention the asparagus salad and desserts with beer and wine - all for less than 20 euros. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone."

"Booked for two families for 8pm. After 20 minutes finally given some water with a drink order arriving after 40 minutes. Food arrived at 9:10 but they managed to forget to bring two peoples meals for another ten minutes which then arrived cold. Waiting staff...didn’t return when asked to bring sauces or apologise for taking so long. We were sat next to a local English group having a quiz night which perhaps didn’t help and was also really annoying. Took over two hours to have a single course. The food when it did come out was fine but nothing special. Bit of a shame as it was our last meal of the Holliday. Maybe we were just there on a bad day ? Maybe book for 7pm to avoid our experience or try the fabulous Chez Chastrusse, Le Bourg instead."

"If you’re anywhere nearby, don’t miss the chance to try Chez Nicole. Incredible value at €13.50 per person (and we split an additional ‘person’ between our 2 kids), you’re in for a delicious, slow, 5 course meal. There is no menu you just have whatever they bring out. Starting with soup (tomato with vermicelli today, thick with home made stock), then followed by charcuterie, melon and a tomato salad. We then had the ‘main’: a slow cooked beef casserole that was rich and delicious, served with pasta. Then the cheese course and finally dessert which was a bit of an underwhelming packaged ice cream. But forgiveable as we were already so full! The food was excellent, the atmosphere and music really pleasant and very casual, with everyone greeting each other as they arrived. We were definitely the odd ones out! Loads of outdoor space for the kids to move about made it perfect for a meal with fidgety little ones. The service was brilliant too! Everything is served in big, sharing bowls and plates so it’s a very communal and generous meal. So very enjoyable!"
