I like this place! It is a bit pricey but with a good ratio value for money. The food is fresh and the taste is like having a small vacation to some southern state

I hated it. Not enough chicken to fill me and curry rice did not agree with my system. We we're both sick the next morning. However, the bread was good and the dessert Euro was heavenly

The executive lunch special came with soup or salad and delicately prepared sole. I skipped the dessert and had expresso instead. Service was quick and efficient. Food was well prepared and tasty

This is one of a few favorites in Frankfurt we always return to. Wonderful to be seated outside in the summer. Greta Greek Wines. We like the fish dishes. Try grilled octopus. Anything with asparagus in spring. Last time did we have a wonderful swordfish...with chili and garlic

Classico seems to be one of the Frankfurt's favourites as I was told by local foodies. The starter of beetroot Italianish salad comprised fresh and good ingredients, prepared carefully. The main dish of turbot with lemon risotto was close to excellent, albeit in a rather...small portion. Service was OK, and the bill including only mineral water to drink came close to EUR. Definitely a place to consider

This place struck me as a bit odd. I think I was expecting an Italian restaurant. The menu contained a mix of dishes, that were all, I guess, Mediterranean. The food was nice enough. I had sweet breads followed by the truffle pasta. Two of...our party had starters, but then there was an incredibly long wait for the mains. Which meant those who didn't have starters waited nearly two hours for something eat. There was a big party in the restaurant, which got all the attention. The wine list was primarily all Greek, which was a surprise. The least expensive bottle was which we went for and it was fine. My wife and I were in Frankfurt recently and we found Classico for dinner which was very close to our hotel. The restaurant's food and service were excellent, so much so that we came back the next night for dinner. We shared a large and...delicious beet salad for starters, and she had a fish dish and I had a veal filet. Both were very good and nicely presented. The next night our waiter, Manuul, a super nice young man we got to know a bit after the meal, recommended the veal chop and I was floored not only by the size of it but also how well it was prepared. Curious evening. I was on my own on a business trip. Lovely décor, looked very nice. But.... The owner or maitre'd was a bit offish when I arrived, even though I had a booking and the place had only four or five other tables occupied....It was also unusual that for a Mediterranean restaurant, all of the waiters seemed to be young Japanese men. Whatever, on I go. OK the food. As a starter I had Steinpilz ravioli. The filling was very good, but the sauce was spectacular. Worth visiting for. As we visit Frankfurt for business on a regular base, this was the second time we visited Classico as the first time was a bit of a disappointment and thought we gave them a second chance. The owner and his wife welcome their regular guests...as friends with open arms. For the non regulars there is just a “this is your table” which feels uncomfortable. The owner is all over his regulars, but it would be nice to give new comers also a bit of attention. The ambiance in the restaurant is fine, typically Italian, nothing wrong with that.
