"Unfortunately, the service was not good. There's no need for any jokes and stupid sayings. The food was very good, but a pizza for 15 euros, as a recommendation that was not even as big as the wooden board on which it was served, is already cheeky. We have expressed this as dissatisfaction in the demand for satisfaction to both waiters and have not been taken seriously. There was even a story about a new pizza oven as an excuse. This interests a customer very little. There was no excuse, let alone reparation. So we don't recommend the place, that in the basement. We cannot judge above, but obviously these are 2 different operators. And to demand 7 euros for a 0.7l bottle of still mineral water is also bad. The place had exactly 4 tables in the basement at 19.00 on a Saturday evening, probably says everything. A table of them was occupied by themselves."

I liked it there. The menu is a bit thin, but it tastes really good. The employees were also very nice and friendly and also have humor. I have already made my colleague the proposal to go there.

Food and service super, individual advice. Food without gluten no problem, tasted everything very delicious. Small Manko: At the table reservation via OpenTable, you can't take any influence on which of the two restaurants you will eat.

Was still at Corona time with lots of restrictions Masking duty, big distance etc) Menu card was kept very small only 3 choice on the card). We were told that there was only one cook and no help). Very nice location and service even if we had expected a lot more. Visualizza piatti

Eat very well. The service has forgotten a drink with every beverage order. Makes a pretty controversial impression, sometimes staggered incomprehensible at our table. But this should not be a reason to avoid the restaurant, maybe it was just a special day form of our waiter....

Too bad, the food was very tasty, the service was also very (almost over- friendly, but the “Beef Tartar” that was tastefully also really delicious, as the main course to be a single joke. There were 4 very small pieces of bread (in total with luck 1/2 slice of toast each with a small Klacks beef. As I said tasty, but as a main course ridiculous (and I do not expect a huge portion according to the motto “Many is good”, but a main course must be more than an appetizer. As an excuse I only heard “Yes, the kitchen already knows.” This was probably just unhappy, but it annoyed me at the moment (if the kitchen knows why eird served it like that?) The 2nd dish “Crispy Chicken” was also very tasty...

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
