"Visiting Barcelona and re visited a tiny place with a passionate soul. The small kitchen in this italian restaurant takes you straight to Italia with traditional dishes from the northern mountains to the very south of the boot. This is my fourth time eating here, and every time it’s been so great, that I had to take some time to review. The Spaghetti carbonara is stupendous, the eggplant parmigiana is the best I’ve ever had, the starters like the cod fish fritters, are so good, they will make you ask for more, the lasagna boloñeses is ultra delish and more home made tasting than grandmas, surely having “la mama” (the owners mom) helping in the kitchen and on the floor, really gives that final touch of a real italian mom’s kitchen. The desserts, like the panacotta and the tiramisu are made on site and are so delicious, that you will want to lick the bowl! All and all, really really good food, nice ambience, super cozy and great great service, very good prices the staff is super friendly and the chef made me feel at home coming out to ask how was everything and chatted for a while, his mom, Mede me feel like I was at my own moms dining room, cherishing my visit and bringing more food to the table that I could eat. Thank you Come Una Volta! I will always come back to dine with you!"

Great food, cute and quaint atmosphere, nice and friendly service. Unfortunately had to get takeaway because of covid-19 but still delicious! Will definitely be returning, can't fault a thing about the food, from the salad to the desserts.

Come una volta has Great Food and perfect prices! small cozy and warm indoor, it feels like home : Bruschetta is a must! mouth-watering Pizza DIAVOLA!! You better try their local Italian wine Great service, nice beautiful people taking care of you.. Just go and see yourself! ciao :

Two years in a row my wife and I have gone to Barcelona for the tennis tournament. #ATP #Claycourt Both years we went to Come una volta for dinner. (We also went right down the block to JazzMan after dinner see my other reviews. There are only 20 seats available at Come una volta. You get sweet, personal service from the owner/chef and his mother, and some of the finest Italian food you'll ever have the privilege to eat! In Barcelona, it's just a couple of blocks off Avenida Diagonal so easy to find, and so worth it!

Excellent food with good prices! For starters we had bruschetta that tasted just what it should taste. Fresh tomatoes, good olive oil with hint of garlic. For main I had a pasta of the day (black gnocchi whit squid and tomato sauce) and my friend had tortellinis with 5 cheese sauce. Both food were super tasty! For dessert we had flan with coffee. Flan was a bit tasteless after other foods but it was still good. +Excellent food +Excellent price, starter, main and dessert with glass of white wine and coffee was 14€! -The restaurant had a limited space indoors -Flan didn't have that much flavour
