Cortisen am See - Menu

We were there only one night over Easter. Room was very nice and clean, really perfect. Splendid view, lake view is a must. Very good breakfast and excellent service. Parking costs extra, and is there is only limited availabilty within the premises, however, there is public parking close by.

We only ate breakfast at the hotel as we ate street food local simple foods but the breakfast spread was really nice. Even had smoked fish, a juicer with carrots ginger but we were very happy they had traditional rolls, bread, croissants and meats cheeses, as well as eggs to order. Love fruhstuck!

The ambience of the dinning there is so relaxing as they serve only the hotel guests. It is tailored to you with its half board dinning. You will get the choice between your starter, Entree and Dessert served with their soup of the day. We were always surprised with so wonderful meals that meant that we had to go for a walk afterwards.

The Cortisen Restaurant is always a good choice. A creative menu of fresh products and the very friendly service is absolutely recommendable. The wine list offers wines from all around the world and takes you on a trip through every corner of your palette. Unfortunately it was raining when we were visiting and we could not enjoy the superb terrasse with the view on the lake and the mountains. But the arty interior and design also was delightful.

This hotel is fantastic! The service was incredibly attentive, always ensuring that our needs were met. Breakfast and dinner were great, the food was very elegant and delicious. The location is brilliant, right in the center and at the lake. The pool had a breathtaking view of the mountains. We used the paddleboards in the hotel, which was a nice addition. The massage was wonderful. The room was spacious and had a magnificent view of the lake with a balcony. Overall a brilliant stay and would definitely recommend!

How can I start what an amazing experience I had at Cortisen. The hotel is like a dream with all the stuff and their services. The suite had a really nice bed, with all the commodities and a cosy bathroom upstairs, the breakfast had everything you can imagine, with the best cuality. Andrea and Stephan, where allways very kind and looking to help you in anything you need, Marco, the barman was also very friendly and a wine expert, and the owner Roland with his couple Sari where the very best, what a friendly guys they are, able to do anything for your staying being the best.

This is a lovely part of the lake to stay in. Plenty of things to see and do as the hotel is in a very good location. You must opt for a room with a lake view. It’s breathtaking. The staff are attentive and helpful. The interiors are quirky. The rooms are very clean the fitness room is good. Although there is a mannequin in there that I personally found disconcerting. My only criticism being a non smoker is the dining area smells of smoke. But I believe this is due to a cigar room being located nearby. There looks to be nicer places nearby but I’m sure the price matches. Cortisone provides good value for money in a really good location.

We spent a week relaxing in this wonderful hotel on the edge of Wolfgangsee. We were in a beautiful terrace room on the first floor. These rooms have a large balcony with sun loungers and a small sunroom next to the very well equipped bedroom and bathroom. On the first floor is the fantastic 25m indoor pool, saunas and access to the garden and lake. We had breakfast and dinner every day at the hotel, which was great. Fantastic quality and choice served every day by employees who were professional but fun and engagement. Another 2 weeks holiday enjoyed by my wife and me at this guest hotel in St Wolfgang. This was again obvious that they were collected from Salzburg Airport to return to the airport on departure. We once again occupied the Black Suite with excellent, incomparable views, clean and excellent facilities. During our flight to Salzburg it came to me that I had not informed the hotel that I had been on a special diet (in June for a week in the hospital) No problem on arrival sorted no problems.
