"This restaurant is perfect for a quick overnight stop. The landlady, Nicola, and the bar attendant, Tom, were very friendly. The atmosphere in this charming old pub is great. The mains, priced at £12.50, were delicious. It took about 25 minutes for our food to arrive, but we didn't mind as everything is cooked fresh and done properly. We enjoyed a relaxing time with Doom Bar, priced at £4.80 per pint. The room was basic and a bit small, but it was clean and had everything we needed including a good shower, comfortable bed, and tea, coffee, and biscuits. The bathroom was spotless. Usk is a lovely town with beautiful riverside walks. Overall, this place offers great value for money and a pleasant stay. We would definitely give it five stars. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable."

Fantastic Sunday roast only £10.50 with proper home cooked veg. Friendly service and great value. The locals are friendly too. This pub is often on our route home from visiting family in South Wales. It was recommended to us and we keep coming back.

We’ve been to the Cross Keys twice for live music nights and absolutely loved both. This is such a friendly pub, lovely staff, great people who made us feel very welcome. Good, fun bands, who got (almost) everybody up on their feet dancing, and a lovely atmosphere. See you again soon

Amazing night last night! My first time gigging at this pub and I LOVED IT! What a great atmosphere! A wonderful group of ladies dancing to everything I sang, which makes my job so easy : The staff was brilliant in helping me set up and pack down and always made sure I was taken care of : Can’t wait time return in 2020! My friends and I needed a break after exploring Usk in the rain, and this restaurant was just what we were looking for. The food was affordable, and while the drinks were a bit pricey, they weren't too expensive. We even got to watch Argentina beat Australia in a live rugby union match on Sky on the big screen. I would definitely stop by again, as the owner and their lovely cook showed us great hospitality.

Yesterday was my first time out since lockdown and I was very nervous about going out. I have to say Nicola signed us in at the entry we sanitized our hands, we were seated to our table and drinks orders taken it was lovely and relaxing and having the waitress service was actually really nice. Thank you for a lovely safe and relaxing afternoon x see you soon and Scott thoroughly enjoyed his first pulled pint in months xxx ????
