"I accidentally discovered this beautiful pub. I asked for my usual drink of a muddy water. had a good laugh with the barman as he said he would get it out of the river. the food was delicious, the view from above was amazing down at the river. service I could not ask for better. the memory of the pub was fascinating. a very welcoming pub for a young woman on her own, was made to feel right away. I'll go back to kings lynn next time. many thanks for a beautiful end to a perfect day."

My favourite pub in King's Lynn. Nice selection of beers and, when the nights are a bit lighter, I like to sit in the conservatory looking at the sun set over the river.

What a lovely pub . A proper British pub with amazing views from upstairs over the Ouse . Really friendly serving team . Great choice of food on the menu and good value for money.

love this picturesque unique place and I love roger. he is certainly a character, but a brilliant one. the food and the staff are fab and the location is excellently located at the ouse. breathtaking view. very recommended x

four of us visited again today after we visited the fen rivers way of st. germans. great beer, nice eating and excellent service. What else could they ask for? if they eat on the look for a traditional pub with excellent real ales and good quality, then the krone and more of the place to go.

Beautiful little pub hidden away on the Kings Lynn docks. Being a free house it expresses itself in ways that the big corporate pubs (Wetherspoon) can’t. The beer was good, the landlord a character (a proper landlord) and the food was exceptional. A hidden gem and well worth the money in these times.

We went here for our 47th wedding anniversary with our two best friends. Very disappointed with my food I had monkfish scampi with chips and peas. Fish very tough and chewy would definitely not recommend. Waiter did ask if everything was okay and I told him about mine and he just walked away. Venue is very nice but sadly we will not be going back.

Booked for lunch, reserved online, asking for a table overlooking the river. We had a beer outside while looking at the menu. Selection on menu was seasonal, choice of meats and fish dishes. I had the seafood and prawn curry and my partner the chicken snitzel. We were both pleased with our choices, the food tasted fresh and was beautifully cooked. We will be returning. Thank you
