"I went here with my husband and son after our bank manager suggested the restaurant and we were not disappointed. The decor is a little underwhelming but suits the place, where the food is in focus and not fancy tables or colorful lighting. Even though...we went here on a normal Tuesday the restaurant was well visited with people also coming to get pizzas to take home. We had antipasti, bruschetta, carpaccio, pasta and pizza, so all the Italian classics, and we were not disappointed. Pizzas are in a size that are eatable and made in an open brick oven and are very tasty, the pasta nice and al dente and seasoned well, the suggested vine was affordable and nice, the beef tenderloin for the carpaccio was good quality and they did not have a problem with my request to have balsamic vinegar on it instead of lemon. Overall my family and I went from the restaurant with a good and satisfied feeling absolutely wanting to come back. There are room for improvement, even though our experience was very good. The serving staff could be more attentive, even though they are effective, and it was a little strange to have all our cutlery and napkins placed in the corner of the table on a little tray, so we had to sort the cutlery ourselves and guess who should have which knifes and forks. So thank you for a nice family dinner in informal settings"

There are not wrong, like all cities you can find lots of pizza options, for Italian food there are several opinion , for pizza in Lipzig of to Da Salvo, if you want pasta go to Alfrado's

Always good pizza, very helpful staff, great oven, normal to see Italians eating, which is always a good sign. There were a few of us so we could mix up the order and get a chance to sample several types. I will return

We visited this restaurant after a bike tour, we were quite hungry and we found everything very nice and quite delicious. The atmosphere was nice and warm. The food is excellent and the service quite friendly and quite good. We will come back!

How strange that Da Salvo is listed as #67! The food is great, wonderful pizza especially, but good pastas and second courses. There is a charming garden. The disadvantage for some (not for me) is the location, not in the center but near the Bayerische...Bahnhof. Visualizza piatti

The place is quite good. I have been there quite often since I have some friends that really like it. Pizza is good, the service is quick, the waiters are nice and friendly. However, at least for me, it is far from being as good...as I often heard. Pizza is not as good as other restaurants in Leipzig, although at least dishes are authentically Italian, and this is certainly a plus

After reviewing all nicely written comments here. We wenn there yesterday at 14;15. we took a table. There were other guests aswell. 5 minutes later a waitress came and Said that they are closing and we should leave. I Said WE are already here and...waiting here to order. She Said they will close. That was really unfriendly. Even they saw that we are there, they didnt warn us and Said that we should leave after 5minutes.
