What a wonderful treat! Good food off the beaten path away from tourists! Perfect for lunch between a Papal audience in the morning a Vatican tour in the afternoon. Staff was friendly, restrooms clean food delish they even adapted menu items for us to accommodate our taste!

First of all, fabulous service. We walked in around 8:45, were full, but seated us in half the time it said it would take. Secondly, fabulous food. I got a marina pizza and husband got carbonara and the look on his face was pure bliss. Finally, FABULOUS price. Half the cost of anything back in America. Go here over any other places in the neighborhood. You'll thank us later.

Abbiamo avuto una fantastica cena da Da Vittorio! Abbiamo iniziato con una bottiglia di vino, patè di tartufo (wow), burrata e un supplì. Tutto delizioso! Per cena abbiamo mangiato le polpette e poi la pasta all'arrabbiata. Come dessert abbiamo preso il tiramisù, che devo dire ho mangiato di meglio. Currently writing this to pass the time as we have been neglected for almost an hour, we got our food and the waiter has not glanced our way since. We had the burrata as an appetizer which was good and each had pasta for dinner. Carbonara portion was big however the fettuccine and caccio Pepe were quite small. The food was decent for the price but really wish the service had been better, especially considering it was not very busy. (Update, finally was able to wave someone down after over an hour and it took another 30 for the bill to be brought to us)

Quaint street side cafe that was a refreshing break from the crowded hustle and bustle of daily life. Started with a Suppli which is a fried rice ball stuffed with mozzarella cheese and a tomato sauce, it reminds me of the filling of a stuffed pepper and it was hot cheesy and delicious.My pasta of choice was Gricia which was spaghetti with bacon pecorino cheese and pepper, I loved it especially with the pecorino and pepper it was a great smooth flavor definitely worth you trying.Husband had the Carbonara and he said it was fantastic. My recommendation is of your in the area stop by and you will be happy you did.

Questo ristorante è stato incredibile. Ho ordinato il prosciutto, la bruschetta, la zuppa di fagioli e l'insalata siciliana. La zuppa aveva un brodo ricco e saporito, anche se era un po' salata, e aveva anche due fette di pane tipo brioche immerse in olio d'oliva. La ricotta sull'insalata siciliana era cremosa e deliziosa. I pomodori secchi erano anche deliziosi. Tuttavia, il servizio da Da Vittorio mi ha impressionato di più. I camerieri hanno accolto il nostro gruppo di 14 persone estremamente rapidamente, gli antipasti sono arrivati quasi immediatamente e i piatti principali sono arrivati in meno di 30 minuti. Great place for a quick lunch or an afternoon meeting. Went for a lunch meeting and had a great meal. What makes Da Vittorio stand out from the plethora of other restaurants in the area is the daily specials. On the first page of the menu are a list of the pastas and secondo of the week. The specials range from local delicacies to more conventional and provincial dishes. The pasta, fresh and tasteful, is really well prepared and arrives at the table in lightening speed. Hence, the real emphasis on business lunch dinning. Questa è una recensione difficile, perché onestamente il cibo è MERAVIGLIOSO! Siamo stati a Roma per due settimane, vivendo a soli un paio di centinaia di metri dal ristorante. E abbiamo già mangiato lì cinque volte..... Ma il Servizio durante il Giorno È SEMPLICEMENTE ORRIBILE!!!!!!!! è oltre l'ORRIBILE! È inesistente. Siamo andati oggi, circa un'ora dopo l'apertura, per prendere un piatto principale, un'insalata e delle bevande. Il posto era COMPLETAMENTE VUOTO! (Vedi foto) c'erano 28 gradi, quindi abbiamo chiesto se potevamo sederci all'ombra. C'era un tavolo per quattro, mezzo in ombra. I went along to Trastevere in search of some typical Roman food and happened along this place. Without internet I had to go by menu alone, what transpired is that another review website rates this very highly amongst locals and tourists alike. Although Yelp doesn't have it lists yet,naughty Yelp! I played tourist and went for their tourist menu of anti pasti, primo, secondo and dolci. For anti pasti I chose the bruschetta con pomodorro, which was one of the finest I've ever tasted. For the pasta course I had rigatoni con arrabiata.
