"Sitting outside, I glanced over at the bigger breakfast that was served on my neighbour's table. That's a lot of breakfast I thought. More a food challenge without the cheap winners t-shirt prize. It looked awesome: 2 bacon, a cumberland sausage, three hash browns, 2 slices of fried bread, grilled tomato, beans, mushrooms, black pudding and 2 fried eggs. My stomach was still recovering from the enslaught of cheese I had for yesterday's lunch. Else the bigger breakfast it would have been (a steal at £10). Instead an oat milk flat white was all I needed to calm the belly and warm the hands. The female staff members were attentive and humble. The rate at which breakfasts flew out of the kitchen onto peoples tables was reflective of a well run cafe. It may have been cold, but I enjoyed relaxing outside amongst the Lichfield revelers on Bird Street. As always I headed onwards to The Cheese Cavern to fill my bike's luggage compartments with France's finest."

A nice cafe with a good selection of snacks ideal for a lunchtime clean and comfortable and with reasonable prices. well worth a visit.

Lovely Cafe, I had a gluten free breakfast which was your classic fry up but modified to be gluten free including gluten free bread , also caters for vegan and provides alternate milk.

nice little caffe. the staff was very friendly, friendly and the service was very fast and always with a smile. eating was fresh and tasteful (the full English in a Yorkshire doll was a surprise search).

I love this place. I've eaten twice and I'm not disappointed. I had the frying pork before and today I had the cake of the day. so good. so much taste and good portions. in any case would recommend to anyone who come

there is a vegan sandwich filling choice on the menu, but they don't have to have any butter, no cheese and no koleslaw. lady who took my order has not understood and thought I didn't want an salate. three times after the koleslawin asked and the food is still there. eating was nice enough when it was right, but I won't return.

absolutely fantastic eating. I used their delivery service while I was isolated myself. the food was delivered in the time she promised. the food was sharp on the delivery and must say it was the most beautiful presented takeaway I ever had. the food was very cheap with many extras available! excellent choice from food. I will definitely visit the café more often. thanks to the staff for a great experience. nicer recommended!

An appropriate name, because it is indeed a damn fine cafe. Although I didn't eat anything more substantial than a cake, the menu looked great and the coffee was excellent. The staff were unfailingly lovely (and rather beautiful), particularly given that it was a very busy day, seating was limited and they had run out of takeaway cups. If you find yourself in the chaos that is festive Lichfield (or any other time of year) do pop in for an excellent coffee.
