Dantes At The Halfway House

Lovely place with a quiet yet warm environment. The drinks and food can be a little pricey but I highly rate the Sunday roasts!

We were staying in the Travelodge nextdoor and went in to the pub every night for food and drinks, absolutely amazing staff and food

I will 100% be returning, came here for work and stayed next door. Every time we came in we were treated like a local. Lovely couple who run the pub, felt like I was leaving my local when we changed jobs. Cheers guys!

We had the best Sunday lunch here. Lots of real not frozen veg, plenty of lovely meats. We meet with friends here who had dietary needs and everyone was catered for. The girls couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Great service

Food was okay. Slightly on the cools side. Burgers were good. The beef brisket was cold on top but the bacon tasted nice a little to fatty for my liking. Fries were good but I would have liked alot more coleslaw than a bit put on a small leaf of baby gem lettuce. Visualizza piatti

We travelled from Brighton and booked a Travel Lodge that was close proximity to a pub, what an absolute gem of a place. The service from the 2 lads behind the bar was great and the food was outstanding and the place was spotlessly clean! Absolutely loved the menu for the dogs too!!!

Great food and a nice pint next door to travel lodge I didn't have to wait for food food was well presented only two niggles plates please instead of bits of wood food looks pretty on the wood but not very practical in my view salt pots I tried 3 didn't work even though they were full 4th one worked for two twists and then stopped? Could be they not long been washed and then got clumped up from being damp ? But I will say a enjoyable clean tasty experience Will come back when in area

I was recently visiting a friend in the area and we went here for dinner and drinks with a couple of her friends. The pub is large with plenty of seating and was very aesthetically attractive. They had a lovely menu for food and drinks. Two of us had a roast, one meat one veggie both were very much enjoyed and recommended for future visits. I had the sea bass which was very delicious and the flavours were perfect, I'll definitely be having that again. The pub felt like a good place for all ages, perfect for families and friends going out for dinner but also equally good for meeting for a few drinks with mates and enjoying whatever is on the screens.
