"I found the restaurant accidentally for a business lunch, the food was simply amazing. I ordered Goulash, which is a traditional Hungarian soup I'm Hungarian, I received many different dishes in many countries under this name, so I was excited. I received a beef stew...with rosemary flavored ovenbaked potatoes. When they served the food it was covered with a plastic topper, so the dish did not lose any flavor while it arrived to our table from the kitchen. The beef stew was soft like butter with perfect taste, the rosemary flavored ovenbaked potatoes was a fantastic combination"

Great German bar. Old school. And seems to be well known. Good food. Good beer. All you need....nice staff. But also old school. This is still a nice area in Berlin how it was....Charlottenburg is nice

Nice and friendly staff working here. I had the schnitzel and it was perfectly pan fried! The potatoes had so much flavor. The dessert apple strudel and the cheesecake was the best I have ever had. Will come back here again

A Berlin original that can be visited. Service was friendly and fleeting. Hausmannskost was good. The parts were big. The beer also tasted. The restaurant was very well visited and so despite booking we only got a small table to eat, which was not so cozy for dinner on the third party.

We were a bit apprehensive about this place, as we thought it would either be altBerliner and unfriendly, or tacky and touristy. It was neither the staff were Berlin levels of friendly, the service was quick, there was a large choice of beers and...homemade brandies and liqueurs, and the food was reasonably priced and very nice. We somehow managed to get a table on a busy Sunday night. We saw several groups turned away because they hadn’t booked. The atmosphere is great and it’s very cosy. Watch out for the WC doors as they open straight onto the corridor from the kitchen
