"we visited here as planned meal for my birthday party on our last trip to edinburgh and it cannot be missed! the food was from this world and the service was the second one to none! our very friendly waiter took time to explain the menu and recommended for eating based on its favorite, which was very helpful! He also took the time to explain to me the gluten-free menu and was very thorough in his explanation. and because it was my birthday, he sang happy birthday to me and brought my dessert with a small knock! but I can't leave any criticism without mentioning the atmosphere, it was as I would imagine to step into a restaurant in the bombay would feel. they really get the full experience here and I recommend a visit!"

only on Sunday morning sat to breakfast and the service of greg was absolutely top animal, his recommendations were also great. eating came out really fast, although it was quite busy and the nasty rolling were absolutely amazing. highly recommended, we go back to the final.

Very flavourful and tasty food! Enjoyed the chai and lamb particularly. Personally, I think the taste of the spices and marinate can be stronger like what I tasted in India but this is a more balanced taste suitable for people who are new to Indian food or unable to take lots of spices.

Nice place to have good Indian food to share! The extra sauces were not necessary as the food on its own is delicious enough and not dry at all. A bit noisy in the evening, but great concept to get people to the bar first and then to the tables to have food. Friendly crew guaranteed, which for sure is a plus

absolutely amazing. every dish was so tasteful I couldn't imagine being better. we had a large group of 8 and I would definitely recommend a reservation. the employees explained the menu for us and helped us to pick up dishes. the ruby huhn is so good and enough for a person. would recommend getting a page of garlauch naan

leave a nice vegan breakfast and a great lunch and dinner menu. eating is fantastic and the chai is one must try and is unlimited early on day. caters for all diets and it is absolutely great. I'll come back. most dishes are tapas style. the decor is also beautiful and eat here inspired me to catch the next flight to mumbai.

Our server Justas was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Our meal was great but he made it exceptional. Everyone who had his as a server loved it. The food was overall wonderful. I especially liked the garlic naan. I would recommend this as a must visit while in Edinburgh. The true winner was the dessert. The rice pudding was FANTASTIC! Must come

it is busy, it is delicious and always a beautiful experience! there is a beautiful selection of aromen with seasoned. we went to breakfast and enjoyed eating and the atmosphere. the bread with sausage, speck and icing were delicious. the only comment I have is that it is so busy and loud. otherwise, a great place to eat. make sure to book in advance.

Amazing restaurant! Very popular to make sure to get a reservation way in advance or be ready to wait REALLY long queues without a guarantee of getting in. The restaurant's decor is really nice and the ambience very welcoming. The food very tasty and seemingly authentic. When you order the chai you can get unlimited free refills, which is always a plus. Since it is so popular, the tables are quite close to each other, which can be a little uncomfortable, especially during Covid times. Overall fantastic experience.

"new kapitel has caught my attention after I was on top ten on trip advisor only months after the opening in the oktober last year. that and the fact that it is open for my early january birthday, made it the perfect place to celebrate to become a little older. I was with the man and his family. the man is quite used to my taste and good to the kind of kitchen that would appeal to me for a special occasion; his family not so much and I was filled with shame as his mother scornful went through the menu trying to find something she would enjoy. I've eaten with the family of the man, and I know they enjoy eating, so I think it's a failure of the menu that it is not accessible. the benming always blooming and garnish can appeal to some, but for others it is overcomplicated and it is necessary to find a balance between the two. we start with the starters and I go for venison sour wort pithvier. the venison was underheated and incredibly dry, to the happiness the sourded a little moisturizing and so saved the whole dish, but the aromen were quite not clear, except the garnitur of plastered mushrooms I thoroughly enjoyed. for the largest part we chose a fish dish for our main,- sea trout, smoked muddles, petersilien and coast herbs. where the starter fell, the main recording is getting back. the dish is rich and creamy, and each element adds the complexity of the taste as a whole, without disturbing. the concept is now an old one, and it would be deceptive if it had not worked, as it would essentially pay with this place. I enjoyed my meal in new chapter, although I do not agree with it is stellar status under the hierarchy of edinburgh eateries. it is top ten position is just a flash in the pan of hot popularity, and in time it will be plated in the upper half of the middle stage where it belongs. and that is where it belongs, the dishes can be plated with a michelin star in understood, and the venue and the supporting media has the clean lines and empty slate look of fine but eat the team has a long gone to go if that is their real aim. at the end, although it was a beautiful meal, and cheap (at the moment I would not be surprised to see their prices slowly rise) and the man’s mother found something they enjoyed and that is the most important."
