Last visit was incredible (about 6 months ago). Hope the new menu continues to do this place justice was amazing food and ambiance.

we went yesterday nice eating the staff was very friendly and helpful with my allergy. children must play in the garden. would be highly recommended.

This place is just absolute lovely.. Food is good, good selection of drinks, soft and booze and the staff is always super friendly! See you tonight guys x

Four friends for a mid week lunch we met at 12.30 and all wanted the chicken Caesar salad to be told they only had one chicken breast (it wasn't particularly busy)! Not particularly impressed when there are two good local butchers both within 10mins! Overpriced and not a very good lunch selection

We sat outside this charming pub in the sunshine. We all 4 had a sirloin roast dinner and boy was it good! The roasties were excellent and the Yorkshires crisp and light. The beef was nice and tasty too. All of our sweets were gorgeous too. The lovely waitress was so pleasant and helpful. This is going to be a regular haunt for us in the future.

This pub is our local.........and we are so fortunate to have such excellent cuisine and friendly atmosphere in our village. Friday night was Steak Night, the pub was very busy but we were taken care of, i.e drinks in the bar, menu to peruse while we chatted to the locals, order taken and when the food was ready we were shown our to our table. I chose from the regular menu and had the pheasant on a bed of delicious spinach..........when did spinach become delicious? My husband chose from the Steak menu and had the sirloin which were divine and cooked to perfection. We shouldn't have but we did.........pick sticky toffee pudding for desert, again..........out of this world!

Absolutely fabulous we went for an evening meal a la carte style wow it was so beautifully presented all individual dishes on different style plates etc. The quality of the food was stupendous, delicious and alittle goes along way we were full. The staff were very attentive and polite which was really refreshing . The front of the pub is stunning and we sat outside which was lovely as the weather is great at the moment. The interior of the pub is lovely really in keeping, stylish and fresh. The only thing we all said was the back garden was so unloved and lost it needed some attention as on a hot day this could have been bustling but it was empty. Thankyou though we really enjoyed ourselves...

A huge disappointment as I'd been wanting to try this place out for a long time. Lovely looking pub with friendly staff but sadly it ended there . Friend ordered the soup of the day which consisted of about three mouthfuls of soup in a dish which was certainly not made for soup! I ordered the skate wing from the specials board. The fish was off, I tried two bites but the overwhelming smell of ammonia could be mistaken by no one . This also put doubt into my friend which had also ordered fish. We were offered a replacement choice but received no proper apology, by the chef, and charged full price for the evening and. It even offered pudding or a drink by way of apology!
