"let me emphasize that eating was good and the staff was really nice. they were seriously disorganized. we asked the waitress about the red weep. she went away and forgot my question well enough. second time in front of us, she didn't come back. we asked another lady came and said she would go and get the weeping list. the second dame came back after writing the prizes on the list in biro. ordered a bottle from the list our foods now half eaten and begin to think what is the point wein now order as it would have been nice to actually have a glass wein with the meal. some while later I saw the lady who asked me if I had my bottle. He....kein lady then left and another waitress came and apologized and said the second lady was in the cellar now. Finally, the dame came back to say that the wein was not available. So I ordered another bottle. no recognition of the fact that my meal now was almost finished was just an alternative choice bottle on the tableploted and went away with another sorry. we had a rushed glass, paid the bill (no discount for the terrible service!) and went."

Overpriced, portion sizes were small and service was so slow they didn’t bring food out and kept messing everything up

The staff were friendly, however, the restaurant was really quiet and it still took 55 mins for the food to arrive. Our food was good would have been even nicer if it was hot

it's been a past since we were in the eccleston. we were so excited and we are very disappointed with the new menu. it was quite limited and my men hotpot was like a pond as it was so watery.

Great night out. Place, food, service, ambience all outstanding. The baked camembert was delicious. I could have had this as a main meal with chunky chips for dipping. Would definitely go again

Fantastic dining experience. We were seated in a spacious spot, great music playing but not loud and every table was positioned far enough away to not feel crammed in. Straight away drink orders were taken and menus were provided. Drinks were served quickly and we’re perfectly chilled. The menu is usual of a traditional pub but provides a more sophisticated take on their meals, including the huntsman burger which I can proudly say I devoured (hunters chicken on a brioche bun drowning in sticky bbq). The food orders came hot and intervals between courses were timed brilliantly. The waiting staff were attentive, empty glasses and finished plates were removed discreetly and quickly. Staff were...

"After being recommended vigour by an friend, I popped in for lunch. On arrival, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who made me feel welcome. Going through the extensive menu full of delicious delights and delicacies, I opted for shredded pork tortillas and pork bao bao for starters, and steak (medium rare and eggs (soft poached. For mains with a refreshing cola with ice, and a creamy coffee for after. The atmosphere in there is really quite nice. The rustic vibe, of exposed bricks, rot iron fixtures and neon signs gave it plenty of character. While the ability to see into the kitchen gave you a good sense of connection to where the action truly takes place. Their shredded pork tortillas came as a trio with a lovely dip. Being a starter, they were small but flavorful. The bao bao which i can only describe as tortillas but in a softer and thicker wrap with a slightly sweet note to them were lovely, and made for a pleasant new experience. They were quite accommodating when I asked for peppercorn sauce for my steak, and managed to do a flat ironed steak to perfect medium rare. With creamy yolk gently glazing it, every mouthful was a joy. I will also note their coffee was particularly creamy and frothy which I really liked. Now, the one potential down side for some is the prices. While the food I had was lovely, and I don't at all regret going. I will say it's not somewhere you go to eat on a tight budget. You pay for the atmosphere, and the food quality is above many typical cookie cutter restaurants. My meal came to just over £34 drinks included, and while I can't make it a regular, I surely will be making it a spot my son and I go to treat ourselves. I will say that if I had my son with me at the time, I could have split the starters and just added chips to the mains to feed both of us quite happily for not much more. Should you be in a position to go regularly, take advantage of their loyalty scheme and get some tasty perks."

"I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews but Unfortunately I can’t say I very much enjoyed my first and potentially last trip to Sabroso. Firstly let me say that we got the food as a takeaway. Now, I’m not a big fan of writing bad reviews. I would rather write a review praising the establishment to allow others to try as we have. However, we were mislead by the reviews and feel that maybe we caught them on a bad day. Nevertheless we had a bad experience. We started with some soft chicken tacos which *spoiler alert* were the best thing that we tried. The flavour was great. The meat quantity was perfect. A great little starter if you’re willing to share. I was getting really excited at this point. However, it’s a slow decline from here. The fried jalapeños were not great. Felt and tasted manufactured if I’m quite honest and with the chilli dip to go with it, which was most certainly ‘crucials extra hot chilli sauce’ that you get in most takeaways these days, I was feeling slightly let down. You would think a Mexican/ tex mex restaurant would at least make a good chilli sauce. For the main, I had a Beef Chilli burrito, which I asked to be made a little spicier, and it Was flavourless. Mainly tasted like cheese and was packed with rice, which I understand that’s what a burrito should be But there was barely any meat/ chilli. I was thinking if my chicken tacos were that tasty I can’t wait for the burrito but it was bland. No flavour to the Mexican rice and there wasn’t any spice to be found. I was very disappointed to say the least. The missus had chicken enchiladas and had this to say: large portion with a substantial amount of chicken but could only really taste tomatoes. Too saucy and rather flavourless. The onion rings and sweet potato fries tasted like they came from a packet. Overall a solid 2 out of 5. I had high hopes from the reviews but it really wasn’t much to shout about. Nothing really Mexican in sight except the tacos. Do not let our review stop you from trying the food for yourselves and maybe you’ll have a better experience If you eat in the restaurant rather than a takeaway. Enjoy yourselves. Nick and Becky."
