"We had a delightful evening meal at this restaurant. We went on a quiet midweek evening, although the weather was bad. We enjoyed a bottle of house red wine for only £15. Our starters included liver and Lohmacun flatbread with spices and lamb, which were both flavorful and generous portions. For our main course, we had chicken guvec and another dish (I can't remember the name) with chicken, garlic, mushrooms, and onions in a creamy sauce, both served with rice in large portions. We were too full to have dessert. The total bill came to less than £60, which we thought was fabulous value."

I am familiar with good food, and this establishment serves excellent cuisine. They offer perfectly charred and chilled meats along with authentic Turkish dishes. I highly recommend this place.

Came here for a birthday tea. The service was great. Quickly shown to our table and drinks order taken. We all ate off the 2 course for £16 tea time special. Portion sizes were great. We all got potato skins and 3 got chicken shish and 1 got adana and no complaints. The chicken was delicious

I very rarely write a review but this restaurant deserves one. Stayed overnight in Sunderland for a concert and searched places to eat with very good reviews. I’m so pleased we decided to eat at Enfes. The food was delicious, friendly service and spotless. When we return to Sunderland we will be eating there again. Visualizza piatti

We were here on Saturday, really feel the 1 star review on the same night is unjustified. The blonde girl was in training and very nervous, but equally very pleasant. The rest of the staff, friendly and knowledgable. The food was lovely, 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 side and 4 drinks for £50, you can’t complain for that price! The only thing missing was the harbour view of Turkey rather than the streets of Sunderland! But they had the carpets on the wall so it felt the part

I have visited this restaurant several times and I must say, I cannot find any fault with the dishes served here. All the dishes are prepared by a real Turkish chef and the difference is evident. The starters are beautiful and the main dishes, especially the quality meats cooked over the grill, are exceptional. Having drinks served in iced glasses to accompany the food is a nice touch. The staff provides friendly and attentive service, making the dining experience really special. I highly recommend adding this restaurant to your list!

"Recommended to come here and eat before attending a concert. Found a table and sat down and after 10mins a waitress came and took our order which was our starters and mains. Starter arrived in good time we had the fireman's sharing board which was really nice and big enough for four people to share and our 2 for 1 cocktails also arrived in good time and were nice. Then after that it went downhill we waited over an hour after we had finished our starter for our mains I asked a waitress to see where our meals were when clearly we knew we had been forgotten about she never came back with an answer so with my patience wearing thin I asked a gentleman with a clip board who was directing people to tables . He said he would look into it and came over after about 5 mins to apologise it was their mistake and our order had been missed and offered us a free drink. My friend and I asked for a vodka and lemonade and another a Disarano and coke and a bottle of water which arrived within 6 minutes. Our vodka and lemonades had never seen vodka you couldn't taste it at all but my friend said he could taste his Disarano. We waited another 10 minutes and our mains arrived three of us had posh finger sandwiches and the other had a steak sandwich which she left as it was dripping in fat and the roll was barely baked. Our posh fish finger sandwiches were also dripping in fat with no taste we asked for extra tartar sauce to be told by a different waitress that its in the sandwich so in other words your not getting anymore. There was barely any in. We all ate them as we were hungry but they were poor. We asked for the bill and paid and went elsewhere for a cuppa. We know it was busy with being a pink concert on at the stadium of light I personally don't think there was enough staff on to cope with the volume of people so our first visit put us off from ever returning."
