"we have visited this locally without reservation and had luck getting another table. So the reservation is recommended, as the local is quite small.Very cozy and tastefully decorated.Savoury were also our pizzas, which could be noticed without too high a level, but it is not necessary. Good pizza, nice operation, pleasant ambiente. If we should come back to Bavarian iron stone, we would eat here again at any time."

"We only went in needing a hot drink after visiting an art gallery next door which gave us a voucher to spend on refreshments there (the gallery has no café . We were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant. Schmugglerhütte (Smuggler’s cottage is a welcoming wooden chalet with long tables and a number of small windows with charming curtains. We were there on a Sunday afternoon when a jolly live music played (live music, we were told, is there on some evenings too . The restaurant serves rather tempting homemade snacks, hot dishes, homemade cakes, all reasonably priced. Unfortunately the menu is in German only (unlike as in many other restaurants in this border village , so no Czech or English and the staff speak German only. So we had to try our very rusty school German and hands to order our drinks and snacks but it was worth it."

"For many years, during our holidays in the Bavarian Forest, we have been going to eat regularly in the Pöschl Stuben, as the food, food selection, ambience and service are excellent and therefore food is an experience. This year, however, our visit to the Pöschl rooms was a disappointment. The service, which has been operating in the Pöschl rooms for many years, was totally overwhelmed by the many guests on the terrace. When serving the night table, orders were wrong and served only after a longer waiting period. The menu in the Pöschl-Stuben is very extensive and also offers many regional dishes. We had, for example, the Schnitzel Wiener Art with roast potatoes from the daily map. The frying potatoes were hidden under the scavenger, probably with their sight not spoiling the appetite. For the onions were burned and the sausage pieces in the roast potatoes were hard and dried. In addition, the price was too high, especially where the daily dish was concerned, as there was not even a salad. The cook had experimented with spices both in the piffer soup and in the sponge pan. Therefore, one could only taste the spice and no longer taste the actual ingredients. In addition, the description of the dishes in the menu does not correspond to the dishes that are then served. In this way, the whirlpool pan (spindle with whirlpools and vegetables) was a mixture mixed in the pan, with vegetables not even seasonal vegetables. At any rate, it seemed as if only a finished dish had been warmed up from the freezer. As dessert we had ordered an original Germknödel. This was made so badly warm that it was dried out and the floor was really hard. The vanilla sauce would rather have the consistency of a pudding sauce and was much too sweet."

"on Monday, 31.10.2022 were on the street in the Arber area and wanted to finish the evening with a pizza. since all Tweeter angles seemingly (almost) have agreed to open all pizzas, not Mondays, we were healed to have discovered this secret tip. I was previously informed on the homepage about the opening hours and there were open daily 17.00 21.00. Unfortunately we were also disappointed on site and stood in front of a dark and unilluminated building. can unfortunately only be awarded 1 star, as an evaluation of the feed and the environment was not possible"
