El Tomate - Menu

Lugar excepcional con una atención y comida inmejorable. Y esa decoración es un plus. Sin duda volveremos. Un abrazo de los malagueños.

Restaurante muy concurrido y ambientado, con carácter y personalidad taurina. El servicio es muy atento y profesional. La comida es casera y de calidad. Una experiencia muy satisfactoria, repetiremos sin duda.

Somos cliente habituales, Alfonso y el resto del personal del 10, siempre atentos a todo. Tanto la carta como los menús diarios son comida casera y está para chuparse los dedos. Si visitas Bujalance es visita obligada.

Un lugar para repetir, la comida excelente, el plato de vinagreras me sorprendió gratamente, el solomillo delicioso y los chipirones un acierto. En fin una experiencia muy grata, a pesar de esperar un poco ya que llegamos sin reserva y estaba lleno, valió la pena cada segundo. La atención maravillosa!

Solo se pueden hablar maravillas de poder disfrutar de una comida en El Tomate, la comida increíble, el servicio excepcional y el local acogedor y cómodo, todo un lujo haber podido conocerlo, fuimos al pueblo por primera vez, buscando mis raíces, y la acogida y el calor humano de este local fue una de las mejores experiencias de este viaje

We got there early. They were not able to offer the full menu. But what they offered at the bar was excellent. Best salmorejo I had in Córdoba. Croquetas were amazing. Ensaladilla delicious. Pork in sauce was very tender. Definitely worth getting off the highway to head to the small town. Make sure you stop and buy extra virgin olive oil in town.

Entramos por las reseñas y acertamos de lleno, por eso hacemos nuestra propia reseña. La comida es una delicia y la atención está al mismo nivel. Descubrimos las vinagreras, que recomiendo encarecidamente. Aunque estaban llenos hasta arriba el personal nos atendió con una sonrisa en todo momento y nos hicieron sentir confortables. Sin duda repetiremos cada vez que pasemos por Bujalance.

On a cycling holiday and had Sunday lunch. From outside looks like a typical bar but behind is the restaurant. No one spoke English(! so we asked for the typical local dishes. We were given an amuse bouche of puréed pepper mozzarella and egg followed by a tapas/ starter of egg potato and ham. We then had a tuna in tomato sauce (good fresh tuna dish. Then for mains a beef rib dish which was actually roasted or braised back bone very tender with meat falling off the bone in a rich sauce with a few chips. Finished with an excellent coffee.

We happened into Bujalance after 3pm on a drive from Seville to Cordoba, and the proprietor of a nearby bar directed us to El Tomate. The owners couldn't have been more helpful in assisting us with the choices on the Menu Del Dia. Excellent drinks and food, served with very good grace. The decor is really worth a mention. Almost art deco with coloured glass and dark furniture, and bullfighting photos and a little religious art on the walls. This is obviously a beloved local establishment, but the owners went the extra mile for strangers too. Delightful!
