"I have been to Elnecot several times since it opened just over a year ago and I love the whole experience. It is in Ancoats an up and coming area of Manchester and is a cool bar and restaurant offering great vegan options. I have been for brunch of cauliflower and chickpea hash, with tahini dressing, eaten most of the other dishes including disco cabbage, the most amazing cabbage dish ever, Jerusalem artichokes with parsley pesto, thyme fries, squash houmous with sourdough, wild mushroom pearl barley arancini and plum cake. There are many vegan wines on the wine list which staff can advise you of, although it would be nice for them to be labelled to make it easier. Chef Michael can certainly cook and his dishes are creative and totally scrumptious. I have my eye on their Sunday nut roast with all the trimmings, which I have heard rave reviews about. I had the vegan English. the sausage, hash brown and the black pudding were all excellent. we also have the bottomless beverage option and I especially loved the ear gray dog cocktail. they were also very generous with the drinks. such a good value for money!

we visited elnecot for a weekend brunch when everywhere was and booked out. they had many seats in the open and the staff was very accommodating. I ordered the shakshuka I've never tried, but I'm totally sold after I tried her version of it! Eating was a bit slow when they were so busy, otherwise everything was great.

They have a wide range of vegan small plates vegetarian dishes that are labelled if they have a vegan alternative. The food is SO good! The head chef was super friendly came out to check everything was ok we even tried tried to use this opportunity to get some recipe inspiration for our own cooking! All the staff are so relaxed helpful. I’d definitely recommend passing by!

The food here is fantastic. I've had breakfast and dinner here and both were incredible. It's one of those places where they've clearly put a lot of thought into their dishes and used veg really creatively. I definitely recommend the disco cabbage, which more than lives up to its name. It's on the pricier side of things but the food is so good it feels reasonable for a treat. Visualizza piatti

Broad vegan range in their newly released menu. Simple, great quality ingredients put together to create comforting food with distinct flavours. Highlights: heavenly, creamy vegan focaccia; wild mushroom and barley balls; cabbage steak Wish I could rate 5 as they are increasing more vegan. Last but not least, prices are great, especially side dishes. Altogether a very much up and coming place, so better visit soon!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a great selection of food and drinks, including many vegan options. The food is delicious. I deducted one star, not only because they serve meat, but also because if you sit in the back, you can smell it from the open kitchen. Although I support gender-neutral toilets, they always seem to be wet on the floors, making me wish for a place where this is not an issue.

I have breakfast and dinner here a few times and both are exceptional. I couldn't judge eating high enough. there are many vegan options. everything tastes great. it is not the cheapest, but it is also really not expensive. Given the standards of food, it is really good. when it first opened, the service was somewhat slow and...ord as if the employees tried too hard and were not of course good at their jobs. but it is much better and I can really not mistake the service now. it is friendly and they do well even when they are packed. I don't think I could mistake it now and would give it 5/5 if I could be updated by previous review on 2019-01-23 Visualizza piatti

I booked a birthday brunch here and had a fantastic time! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, providing impeccable service with a constant flow of drinks and smiles. The brunch dish I ordered was delicious and a generous portion size. The bottomless drinks option is £25 each, with additional charges for food ordered. There are a variety of cocktail and beer options available, making it a great choice for those who don't want just prosecco. Customers are allowed to change their drinks as well. I will definitely be returning for different meal times, as I've heard that the Sunday roast is excellent. The restaurant is also dog-friendly, with nice touches like supplements at some tab...

We decided to try the roast and were pleasantly surprised! The service was excellent, very attentive, and we were quickly served our drinks and food. The roast itself was a bit on the expensive side compared to other places, but overall delicious. The nut roast was the only disappointing element, as it tasted more like a vegetable dish with nuts mixed in. However, the other components of the dish were tasty, especially the sweet part and the generous portion of broccoli. They also offered a delicious vegan cauliflower cheese. The overall experience was great, with friendly and attentive staff, delicious vegan food and cocktails, and a cozy atmosphere. We will definitely be returning, especia...

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
