"yesterday sat for breakfast and was pleased to see that recent changes to decor had made such a large imporovemnet to the overall feeling of the place. it was clean, warm and the festive feeling had already met. the breakfast was brilliant, much better than expected for a chain resturant so was pleasantly surprised worth for money is great. one of our servers that wasn't sure about their names was friendly and seemed really interested to make sure everything was in order. to make it from a beautiful little soft game for the daughter so overall was a good opportunity to spend the morning. we will definitely come back and look forward to coming back to try the menus."

The manager was very polite and always busy, ensuring the tiny restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The staff were lovely and there was a play area to keep the kids entertained. We will definitely be returning with the family. Thank you.

I saw a beautiful pub, along the river trent. beautifully decorated and very large in the inner, with a sortiment of sitting and tables. great playground outside, with a good amount of seats in the free. extensive menu, although I did not eat there. only had drinks, coffee is an excellent price and staff are friendly.

Fantastic place for people with young children. Play are round the back, noisy enough without being terrible, and reasonable prices. I would say that the play area needs insulating better and if you're wanting people to order by the app in an area with limited signal, then put in a free WiFi service, but other than that it's great. Cheap, easy, fun for kids. Excellent.

My wife and I go here quite a lot as we are fairly local and we never have a bad thing to say about it. Friendly staff, reasonably priced food with good portions for those with big appetites. Also great for families with the kids wacky warehouse and outdoor play and is also dog friendly. The pub also has great views of the river Trent with lots of friendly swans, geese and ducks there to feed. There’s also a nice walk along the riverside if you want to walk off that big meal you’ve just had.

we have visited tonight and very professional, friendly service restored by very overstretched staff. eating for our party of 11 was delivered quickly, no mistakes and was enjoyed by all. there was a long waiting time at the bar because they were short staff, but the staff that served was quiet and friendly, despite the waiting queue that was built from the door. I understand that with the food prices this low point the margins must be very close, the workers who were tonight are a credit for them.

This pub, located in a beautiful setting, did not leave a good impression. Upon approaching the riverside establishment, I noticed glasses with drinks that looked like they had been there for a while on the old windows. The cleanliness of the toilet left much to be desired, as it appeared that it hadn't been checked since the previous evening. I took a photo of the toilet cubicle door, which had a broken bolt, showing that maintenance had not been done for months. Despite these disappointments, the vegan meal options were excellent, although the portion of mushy peas served was quite small. Thank you for providing this meal choice.
