Absolutely beautiful 10/10 food,service and atmosphere was brilliant will deffo be returning as this was my first time

Lovely restaurant, the staff were all very friendly. We both had the steak burgers which were much bigger than we anticipated, but sooo good! Lovely drinks too.

Absolutely amazing place to visit. The food and service were exceptional. The portions are a good size and the service was just lovely. We could not fault it at all. A lovely end to a stay in the Lakes.

The food, service, and cocktails at this restaurant are fantastic. We visited to celebrate our anniversary and were impressed by the beautiful dishes and wide selection. The staff was very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Sadly I really couldn’t recommend. Went for a premium option on the menu the hanging kebab. Firstly we waited 50 minutes for 3 hanging kebabs, which is excessive. Over cooked meat and the chip pans hadn’t been cleaned out, had remains of sweet potato fries in our normal fries… Not mentioning the poor service having to flag down a waiter for another drink despite the restaurant being relatively quiet. We were apprehensive about dining here after reading mixed reviews but we could not fault any of our meals. We arrived a bit early so sat at the bar and had a few of the cocktails off the menu, there are plenty to choose from! We were seated in the back dining area which was very nice. We all had a starter and main and couldn’t fault anything, we really enjoyed all the food. There wasn’t a long wait for the food either and the waiting staff were really helpful and attentive. If we ever came back to Cockermouth we would definitely eat here!

My wife and I took a trip to Lowther Castle and Gardens with our in-laws, and after experiencing terrible weather, we decided to drive to Cockermouth to indulge in the excellent food at Fredricks, a restaurant we have frequented many times before. We began with the seafood platter selection along with a side of chips for our child. The platter was a fantastic choice for seafood lovers! We then ordered some delicious main dishes, enough to feed 3 adults and 2 children (including a kid's meal of pizza and chips). It was a lovely meal to end the evening. We will definitely return when we are in the area again.

We had a nice meal at this restaurant and actually were saying how much we liked the restaurant until we recieved the bill which had a mistake on it. We ordered a bottle of wine but were given the wrong one,no problem with that and they changed to another one. Then when we got the bill the wine we ordered cost £24 but we were billed £30,we asked the waitress to please amend by £6 and she said ok and went to speak to managment. George returned ,suppose he was assisant manager and said he can’t refund the £6 as we had drank the £30 bottle we said no it’s £24 on the menu ,he proceeded to show us it was £30 and this is when we relised that they had actually given us a £30 bottle of wine which wa...
