a simple Austrian feeling for the restaurant with lots of wood everywhere. Excellent cold, thick (unusual, but welcome) and perfectly cooked rarely as desired. starter was also perfectly cooked and presented and overall a beautiful place in a charming old world location.

We met with friends today for the 2nd time here for dinner and it was excellent again. The other dishes also looked very good. The furnishings are original and cozy, the operation nice and I pers. find the host not especially but funny and nice. Everything was super organized.. we like to come back.

Die Speisen sind sehr ordentlich zubereitet und geschmackvoll zubereitet, hatte bereits das Wiener Schnitzel sowie den Tafelspitz. Beides ist sehr zu empfehlen. Ein familiengeführtes Restaurant, was man deutlich merkt, denn der Service ist aufmerksam. Das Ambiente sticht heraus. We also want to have stayed longer, but the heat in place made it impossible. Entrepreneur: Schneider's origin as an open wine online on the map. On site we were told that this was a known mistake, instead we were offered two wines that were not online and were not as good as the origin! Nevertheless, the good food will definitely return us!!

in the historical part of Meerbusch-Lank is the restaurant fronhof. they disassembled an old building from Austria and rebuilt it in a building. the atmosphere is super cozy, especially this season. as an appetizer we had smoky with pan fried...Kartato patties an earlylingssalat. the dressing was a tasty senf base and a very good raw sauce finished the dish. we decided to eat during the traditional goose season in november and December in fronhof. After we had many disappointments in düsseldorf, we decided to try fronhof in meerbush. the best decision ever! the restaurant is original with a very beautiful Austrian design that reminds us of après ski. the proportions were greater than expected and of excellent quality. the dessert (Kaiserschmarn) was simply sublimed. Once they sit, they are served with a delicious brot that appears handmade. as they see from the pictures, we had a suppe with geese and gooseberry on kartoffeln for starter. as a main course we both went for the breast of the geese with red cabbage, knödeln and a baked apple in jus....
