"I was just there for dinner. The food was excellent, with very generous portions, superb flavor, the service was top-notch, and the ambiance was just perfect. It was a bit chilly today to sit outside, but sitting outside in the summer, right by the pond, is certainly worth a visit in itself. And then there's the excellent food, which of course tastes just as delicious inside—what more could you ask for? I highly recommend the Gaststätte Zur Weiher Schleife Offene-Flamme Thomas Kreis to anyone who finds themselves in Idar-Oberstein or the surrounding area."

Toller Chef. Tolles Personal sehr freundlich. Chef begrüßt jeden Gast persönlich. Essen gab es auch hatte ein Rinderschnitzel.meine Partnerin Zigeunerschnitzell was soll ich sagen. Lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen jederzeit wieder.

We were here with the children on Saturday afternoon and drank fruit spritzers and coffee. The service was super attentive and nice, there is a nice playground right next to the restaurant. Gemütlich, freundlich, familiär mit hervorragendem Essensangebot, angelehnt an regionale Spezialitäten wie gefüllte Klöße, Spießbraten, Rouladen, gefüllte Hähnchen etc Man kann auch anrufen und bestimmte Herzensgerichte bestellen, die dann gerne für einen zubereitet werden . Tischreservierung würde ich empfehlen, das Restaurant ist beliebt

Freundlicher Empfang, netter, sehr flotter Service, das Ambiente ist rustikal mit schönen Aussenplätzen. Daneben ein Spielplatz damit auch für Familien prima. Und dann das Essen: unglaublich lecker, regionaltypische Gerichte, ordentliche Portionen, einfach nur klasse. Unser persönliches Highlight: auf dem Weg aus dem Restaurant heraus, trafen wir die Metzgerin, die das Restaurant beliefert und die uns voller Begeisterung erzählt hat, dass bei ihr nur regionales Fleisch aus eigener Schlachtung verarbeitet wird. Eine echte Empfehlung!
