Everything about Gaya was excellent. The greeting, the service, the atmosphere, and, of course, the food. A very special place, well worth its Michelin star without being fussy.

Excellent food and service in a spacious, elegant relaxed atmosphere. The crab appetizer and lobster bisque were sublime and the John Dory fish with black rice delicious. We will return on our next trip to Paris.

Quel talent ! Cuisine inventive et très intense dans les goûts. Des plats d'une finesse rare : le crabe mayonnaise en entrée était magistral. Le dessert cerise réglisse était merveilleux également malgré la quantité un poil importante.Bravo.

Une soirée magnifique. Une cuisine principalement de la mer absolument savoureuse, à la fois gourmande et élégante avec des associations de saveurs créatives et maîtrisées. Les desserts et notamment le Paley Guimet sont à se damner. Le service est parfait.

Worst experience. We made reservations or at least we thought we did. The email in French arrived stated that we are on the waiting list. First who the hell takes credit card info to put you on a waiting list and why would we even try to translate an email in French expecting that we are on the waiting list?? We had several reservations in Paris and around the world but waiting list? And then restaurant didn’t bother to say anything else. This is a defining pretentious and place that’s not worth it. Skip. There are much better places in Paris than this one.

C’est exquisite! It’s as good as it gets in Paris, and I said this after trying 3star Michelin restaurants. Excellent service! Food is impeccable- always play on contrasting texture of ingredients. Abalone (crunchy) with melt in your mouth foie gras! Delicate sea bass paired with mackerel which has a firmer texture and garnished with roast fennel which has a crisper texture to contrast! Crepe soufflé has the lightest of egg white folded into the thinnest of crepe! This is now on my to go list of restaurants in Paris! The decor has the same understated and refined ambience for one to delight in exquisite food!

Je connaissais déjà GAYA Rive Gauche mais j'y suis retourné récemment 3 fois lors de mes séjours parisiens. Le temps n'a pas d'impact sur cette adresse et sa qualité ; il y laisse juste une légère patine. La carte se renouvelle régulièrement, les produits y sont toujours de très grande qualité, la saveur des mets est remarquable, les cuissons justes, l'accueil et le service par une équipe jeune et fidèle toujours très agréable. Ajoutons à cela un art de la table élégant et parfaitement adéquat au lieu. L'ambiance y est chaleureuse autant qu'élégante, feutrée sans être jamais guindée. Gaya is a superb restaurant! I highly recommend it and would rank it among the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at in Paris….which is saying a lot. The food was awesome, and the atmosphere was relaxed but highly professional. Could easily have 2 Michelin stars. I almost chose the lobster tasting menu, which looked terrific, but instead ordered a La Carte, and the food was fantastic. The two types of Breton langoustines were particularly tasty, as was the tarte, which was actually a fish dish. The wines by the glass were excellent, and the sommelier was really helpful and the opposite of pushy.
