"The beef curry had mushrooms through it and no spice to it at all and there was no mention of mushrooms in it on the menu I hate mushrooms and this spoiled my dinner straight away also the egg fried rice was more like boiled rice with egg through it the rest of the meal was alright but there was no spice to anything very bland but very disappointing for the price you pay had a lot better in every restaurant near by Meal type: Dinner"

Waited an hour and 15 minutes past our delivery time before we got our food. It all arrived cold but once heated up it was actually quite tasty. Not sure if they are under new management. Used to love their food. Last time I ordered carry out it was obvious they were doing refurbishment. Food was awful. Thought I would give a second go but just as bad. Everything tasteless and bland. I had vegetarian dish minimum veg in amongst this glutinous mass jelly sauce. Sorry but won't be back. Always says they are open when they aren’t. Take your money and don’t refund it unless you chase it. Opening times are unpredictable. That being said this place used to do my favourite crispy shredded chicken in spicy chilli sauce, all of a sudden they don’t even know what it is. It’s on their menu but they say they don’t know what it is. Crazy crazy place. Food: 1

Ordered from here and cannot fault there delivery time nor the customer service as I was refunded my money but the chicken curry, avoid at all cost as both me and my partner tried and there was a weird taste from the chicken and the mushrooms. Having to send the curry back with the delivery driver. I feel for my month old breastfed child who will be tasting it in an hour or so. Service: Delivery

"Away in North Berwick for a week and visited several times because the food and service is that good. Between us we have sampled most of the Tapas menu and the dishes are all absolutely delicious. Pizzas are all freshly made and again delicious. My...daughters each had a steak and while they were a little thinner than expected, both were perfectly cooked. Next, the service. This is absolutely exceptional. The staff are all so welcoming and professional and this establishment should be proud of them all. Not only is this place a lovely place to eat but it is also a lovely place to relax over a glass of wine or two. Pleasant and comfortable surroundings in the front of the place and a lovely additional dining area at the back . All of which is tastefully decorated. All in all an absolutely delightful experience for the money. If we are ever back in North Berwick we will definitely visit again."

"We googled the best Sunday roast in North Berwick and we found it at The Puffin! The roast beef with all the trimmings was delicious The beef was tender , the vegetables cooked to perfection and the gravy had the right amount of seasoning very often , from experience, chefs over season with salt and ruin it) The atmosphere was nice with other diners bringing their very well behaved pooches to sit quietly under the tables. I saw a staff member bring a dog a bowl of water , very sweet. It’s a family run affair, with super friendly staff . Recommend highly ."

"This should be a really nice restaurant but avoid the xmas period. There is no working website and no obvious menu. When we booked for new year we were not told it was a 'fixed menu '. The fixed menu was bizarre and eye wateringly expensive. We and others left because of this and the restaurant was essentially empty. No pizza, no pasta and no childrens menu. The squid starter is normally £9 but for new year it was £13.50. Main courses were £30-40 compared to the more normal £10-15 on a typical night. Kid-friendliness: No childrens menu for new year. "I went in at 15:34 hrs asked for a cup of tea only to be told by a young female member of staff that they stopped serving at 15:30. I understand that they close at 16:00hrs but it doesn’t take long to pour some hot water on a tea bag so I cannot comment on the quality of the cake, that I would have purchased, as I was not allowed to spend any money? It looks nice but make sure you go in well before 15:30hrs. Service: 1"
