Everyone had to have beef all else had gone .Arrived first and seated but was left while they took orders from others who had arrived later.only came over when we called the waitress .Won't be returning Price per person: £30–40 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

the pub was quiet when we visited. a good selection of real ales and a very picturesque pub. there is a reasonable choice of meal times. the service started well, but the special question about the meal was ignored and the product was still on the teller. that could have caused a problem if the request was driven allergy. one of the burgers was very fat and dripping fat on the plate, curious the other not.

a varied menu with a good selection of gluten-free options, would recommend the gluten-free fish and chips. other people in our group had the burger, ribbed and the venison casserole, all well presented with a good size. downstairs. there was no child menu, but they could care for us and made a smaller part of the sink, egg and chips. good selection of puddings in the menu. the pub is located in a beautiful village in the landscape with a beautiful atmosphere. someone would have liked to come and check if everything was in order with our meal during the meal, but they understand that the pub was busy. would have to be visited again in summer.
