"Family booked 9 of us to eat at the high corner Inn for my 70th birthday.We go there at least once a year if not more.I've been going there since I was 18 and always have had a very good meal.But unfortunately this time it was terrible.Most of us had roast dinners and the meat was mostly Grissel. A wonderful pub set in a peaceful location off the beaten track. Great friendly staff, plenty of parking and dog friendly.

The catering team is clearly making an effort here. They offer a variety of starters, main courses, desserts, and plant-based milk options, all of which seem to be homemade.

poor personal in bar overworked and she ran out eating so not many options on menu. Also let expensive t-shirt in garderobe accidentally. E-mail and telephone, but no answer is pretty poor.

this is an old guesthouse that does not expect modern rooms that said the rooms were of a decent standard. apart from the odd interruption of the new forest ponys, the place was quiet and a place I would recommend. Visualizza piatti

First time we visited this place 5yrs ago meeting friends from Southampton, everytime we come to the new forest since then we always make sure we visit again . Lovely setting food was great and had a great time here

The menu clearly designates plant-based dishes (or where it is available). It was too busy to confirm if that means they are vegan, though. It is possible that they are, but we didn't want to risk the yogurt or whipped feta being the dairy version. The positive aspect is that there are such options available, even though it meant choosing a lighter meal instead of a main dish.
