"So you've been in France for a few weeks and you've quickly realised that the coffee is absolutely rubbish everywhere. So when you pull into the pretty little village called Guethary on the Cote Basque you think that you have absolutely no chance of a half decent brew. Prepare to be surprised! I am happy to report that Providence delivers the goods. The barista there today admitted that she was still improving her milk frothing, but I thought her cappuccino was spot on. This definitely beat any other coffee I've had in this part of the world and I intend to be propping up their bar for the rest of the time I am here."

"Nous avons dîné dans ce restaurant durant nos vacances. Les plats étaient bons, bien cuits et bien cuisinés (pavés de thon et légumes goûteux, pavlova aux fruits rouges et abricots rôtis) Mention spéciale pour les très bonnes frites ! Rapport qualité prix un peu élevé pour les desserts (celui aux abricots était très peu copieux) et quelques couacs lors du service (erreur de commande, frites très longues à arriver, café également) Mais dans l'ensemble, bonne soirée et avis positif !"

"Where do I begin, we were greeted by a girl who helped us well. she has taken our order, drinks, starter and the burgers. the order was brought by the (male) bar staff, he asked who had ordered the beer and the cocktail. He did...not listen to what is being said and just put the drink down on the table. At the moment the food is brought (burgers) by the same male person, we tried to make contact with him. because we have not had a starter. contact was difficult and he wanted to leave as quickly as possible. he even reacted a little arrogantly. he couldn't speak english, so we tried it in french and english that we had not received a starter. we have received the starter later. but with a burger we didn't need it anymore. we were asked why we did not eat it, hereby I indicated that it was a pre-order and it was not the intention that we had it with the main course, there was no response. unfortunately the delicious food did not make up for it with the poor staff. I prefer to give you star but the hamburger and fries make it three stars."
