"Man. this place was perfect. everything on all the tellers for each cure was great and not only ate everything, but the sosse was also all broken. this place is unusual that they do not have a menu. the guy comes and sits with you, you and put down what they have in this night. everything sounded good and it was hard to make a decision, but after eating could probably not be wrong. no weeping as they have what they have. because there is no menu, there were no prices, so at the end after eating a lot, with wine, we tried to guess the price. one of us guessed correctly, but the others were over and we all felt it was more than reasonable. the staff was all friendly and the room is cute and cozy. feels like a family business and this is a family where I would like to be. we have made the last restaurant that we have eaten after two weeks in Germany and were so glad that we did."

Very authentic restaurant in a cosy setting. It's a spoken menu, and the food is so good we all left there very full and happy. Comes highly recommended! We will surely return here when visiting Hamburg again.

great dinner, loved the place very basic location, but eating makes them smile. fresh pasta, great fish and beautiful desert. also the people who walk the place are pleasant and take the time to explain the dishes. no menu card but the quality of the...speeds makes them feel they don't care. thanks for the beautiful evening.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here two nights ago. Our waiter was fantastic sat with us to tell us about the menu (spoken menu). He described advised everything perfectly. The small restaurant was full there was a great atmosphere. Our food was presented...excellently and we had a great experience on our first night in Hamburg. Would highly recommend to others.

fantastic and excellent eating, starting with bruschetta in Pesto sauce, then corn salad with walnuts, granatapfel, pumpkin seeds and goat cheese in lemonhoney sauce along with linguine in Gamba-garlic-chili sauce as main dish, followed by an excellent crême broulée accompanied by cappuccib all this in a small cellar with few tables in a great atmosphere with super friendly staff and beautiful (female) chefs. make sure to book your table in advance .... we will be next time again . thank you!

In Hamburg for nights and came here because of Trip Advisor reviews. Not far from the Hauptbahnhof, down a few stairs into a very cosy little den of a restaurant. A great feel with very friendly staff. A spoken menu, as others have mentioned,...which worked really well. Initially we thought it a bit of a silly gimmick. A little annoying that there isn’t a wine list to view. Entitled as a customer to see prices etc. However, we all loved every mouthful of everything we had. Another HIGHLY RECOMMENDED restaurant in this beautiful city...

We were looking for some place within walking distance of our hotel and found I’ll Bucko on TripAdvisor. Dinner far exceeded our expectations! Charming room and staff. No written menu. The human menu pulled up a chair and walked us through tonight’s choices. Very patient,...clear and accommodating. Our first two courses were the stars. Grilled calamari and a ravioli stuffed with marscapone and red pesto in a sage butter sauce. I had veal with forest mushrooms in a cream sauce and my wife had salmon fillet. All very good. Reasonable price for the quality. Enjoy!
