Great place, more towards fine dining. Friendly staff and fantastic that all food is gluten free and milk free. As pescatarians not a lot of choice, but if you are a meat eater there’s a lot to be had here. Nice surroundings, and great location for pre-theater dinner

What an amazing place. Staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. The food was excellent and best of all gluten free, dairy free and safe. Such a relaxing experience and so incredibly kind letting us stay on when our booked car broke down. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Had a cracking meal here last weekend for our sons 18th birthday organized by Dominic Teague, the Head Chef at very short notice. Drinks in the atmospheric bar were great, we were expertly looked after by Eduardo throughout. Some of the lovely food included Quail Ballotine, lovely smoked salmon, venison with beetroot, great gourmet fish and chips, monkfish and steak. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere great job to all, well done, loved everything!!!

I wanted a restaurant which offered a completely gluten free menu so my daughter who has coeliac disease could choose anything from it. Indigo at One Aldwych offered this and more. Great service, quality, locally sourced British ingredients, sustainable. Lovely food and desserts, excellent choice of wines and such a great location especially if you are visiting the theatre/Covent Garden area. The menu is also dairy free. Highly recommend wether you are needing a gluten and dairy free menu or not as you would never know.

This was, without a doubt, the best experience I’ve had at a restaurant. As someone with celiac disease and a dairy allergy, it was the first time I’ve ever been able to order from the entire menu, without any substitutions or compromises. The service was phenomenal. As a solo diner, they even brought over a QR code so I could access news or magazines to read during dinner (a step above, in my opinion). We were there to celebrate my partner birthday and i choose this place and occasion to propose her. We had cocktails, starter, main and side. The service and the food was absolutely fantastic, excellent costumer service, staff are very friendly. Food was absolutely delicious, you definitely get what you paid for. Julian and Luchio were an absolute gentleman with a lots of knowledge and friendly, respectful, excellent costumer service focused. The staff even gave us a “congratulations “ card what was absolute shocking in a positive way, me and my partner are very happy and we are definitely coming back! Thank you all!

What a treat for my wife to enjoy delicious gluten free food on her birthday. Service was excellent and we began with some warm sourdough bread which was the best GF bread she had ever had (they even gave her the recipe). Our starters of pork cheek and scallops were amazing (sauce with the pork was divine). Then for mains Fish and Chips and chicken with white beans, both equally as wonderful. A nice surprise was them producing a little birthday cake to go along with our coffee and petit fours. The Gruner Veltliner wine took us back to Vienna. Would recommend Indigo to any one with a Gluten allergy or not. A lovely experience.

Total failure to meet Indigo’s basic promise of pre theater meal. We booked this restaurant from the US specifically because of its promise of its pre theatre special menu and service. We relied on their local knowledge and advise and booked at 6 for a 7:30 curtain . We Arrived at 6:05 delayed by an misdirected Uber) and seated promptly and ordered the simplest pre theatre menu after we confirmed our theatre plans and need for extra time as slow walkers. They confirmed no issues. Food and drink was fine but no time to eat as the entree arrived 10 minutes before our required departure time. If you can’t meet your promise, don’t promise.
