Food well cooked, and plentiful, too much to eat, worth the money, clean surroundings, pleasant and cheerful service

Ordered gammon and egg and my other 1/2 ordered sweet chilli panini Portions were massive and reasonably priced although chips and veg clearly were frozen which is a shame

Very pleasant, polite, efficient staff. Enjoyed our meals. Plenty of choice for both drink and food. Like the refurbishment, very comfortable and very much a relaxed atmosphere.

Popped in on a Saturday night for a family meal and found it to be excellent as always . Really good pub meals with large portions and good taste and quality . Excellent value and would recommend it .

Another visit here and its still the same , large portions of good quality pub food . None of us could finish our meals as the portions are so large. I had the gammon and egg and it was lovely . No complaints , staff are friendly and efficient, all in all a good experience.

Lovely food.great service huge portions. Value for money. Came to barrow for couple days came here for lunch on first day it then became our local. Nothing was to much trouble. Local to our hotel. I was unfortunate enough today to have what I thought was going to be a good meal that's where the good finished We waited ages,my meal was cold luke warm possible We complained to the manager, what a mistake that was a rude little man never have I been spoken to like the words from this person little man syndrome We will never be near this place again

Ate here many times for lunch usually have the same, a hot baguette, stick to what I know. Always lovely always stuffed afterwards. My husband chose the chilli, which was awful he hardly ate any of it it looked like quorn not minced beef at all. Nobody came to check if were ok except for when we paid we were asked, to which he replied it wasn't very nice, the girl didn't know what to say to us so ignored the comment just took our money no customer service skills whatsoever !!! Safe to say he won't be going back in a hurry, me on the other hand enjoyed my lunch.

Me, the wife and our 6 year old son decided to visit for lunch on Sunday. Sat at a booth with its own TV, although it was football it wasn't a problem as the sound wasn't on. Staff were friendly and efficient, took drinks order then came back in good time for food order. 1 Jefferson's beef baguette, 1 Fudstock burger (a percentage of the sale going to Start Mary's Hospice) and 1 kids chicken and chips. Food came in good time, the beef baguette was as nice as ever so said the wife, my burger was really good especially the Monterey Jack onion rings. Checked on in good time and asked again when clearing away, seriously couldn't fault a thing! Haven't been for a while but the new decor is really...
