"Went to the pub up the road from this place because of good reviews, however they didn't service food on Monday nights, so went to the nearest place to eat. The White Hart. Big mistake. The frozen peas were only just cooked and hard, the frozen French beans were soggy and tough. The mash potato's had a hard crispy top having been kept warm in an oven, and the meat pie was of chip shop quality. Only positive thing was the jug of gravy to drown it all in. All in all the worst pub meal I've ever had. In hindsight should have put the meal on the bar and walked down the road to the chip shop. Going by the food I was given I'd certainly wouldn't recommend this place."

"We have been meaning to try this place for years and finally got around to a last minute visit at the weekend. The restaurant is small and very busy so I'd recommend booking well ahead of time. The food is really very good. The goats cheese starter on the specials menu was divine and I would also recommend the pasta dishes. The cheese garlic bread was OK but I prefer more cheese. The tiramasu and nutella dessert were both great. The service was very attentive. We were regularly asked if everything was OK and if we would like more drinks. Will definitely return."

"Visited here with my grandchildren in the wacky warehouse there prices are so reasonable and good value nice portions and brill children's menu drink meal and pudding under £6 for them , the play area a good size and the lady called Rebecca who was working there was so lovely very friendly she was very helpful and lovely with the children , definitely return"

"I visited here with my daughter and 8 week old grandson as we knew that the place is very child friendly. As it was a lovely day we sat outside at a table in the shade, but there is plenty of room inside for prams and buggies and a children's play area with lots of toys. The baby needed a nappy change during our visit and my daughter was very satisfied with the changing area in the cloakroom. We both ordered club sandwiches, one of which was the vegetarian option, and they were delicious, accompanied by a serving of salad. I had a cappuccino, while my daughter went for a cooling peach flavoured tea and we couldn't resist a slice of coffee cake each which was also delicious. We will definitely be visiting again with or without the baby!"

"Had a meal here pre booked the table for a Sunday evening for a party of 6 adults and 2 children, we was waiting at the door when we arrived no one approached us many of members of staff were walking past us and still waiting to be served I asked a waiter where we was sat. After waiting we had to ask someone if we could have menus and same again to order drinks and then order food the service was very slack and slow it wasn’t even busy! We ordered food and it took forever to come once it arrived they had multiple swaps and changes without letting us know, simple things such as peas was out of stock! The worst of all was that my daughter who i ordered a dairy free meal for got brought out a meal with dairy in! It then became that late that it was too late for the children to eat and then whilst eating our meal it was a awful experience and one of the worst service with average food and the bill come to £135 which would have been great if the service and the food was worth it too Overall very disappointed visit to what could be an incredible place. Dietary restrictions: Asked for dairy free and they forgot Kid friendliness: Colours and colour sheets high chairs provided if you get yourself"
