"The food was quite good, and we enjoyed our initial experience at the restaurant. However, during our week-long stay at the hotel, we chose not to return after our first visit due to poor service. While the staff were incredibly friendly, it appeared that there weren’t enough of them available, as they seemed occupied with other tasks throughout the hotel. When we arrived, about 75% of the tables were vacant, yet many were still cluttered with dishes, glasses, and leftovers from previous guests. The delay in the waitress attending to us was so lengthy that we decided against ordering starters or desserts. Additionally, we found ourselves walking to the bar each time to fetch our drinks, as the waitress appeared too busy to take our orders. Although the hotel itself is wonderful and the food in the restaurant was enjoyable, it seems they are missing an opportunity by not having enough staff in place. As a result, we couldn’t fully relax and savor our evening meal, as the lack of service left us feeling frustrated."

I found the Red Thai curry to be quite bland, and the rice was terrible. The service was also disappointing; the waiter mistakenly served us Prosecco instead of champagne. To be honest, I've had better microwave curries. The food was overpriced and lacking quality. The children's fish fingers were not even proper fish fingers, and my other daughter ordered chicken breast but received a leg instead. Overall, it was a poor experience, and I wouldn't return.

The food was good, but with a bit more effort, it could have been excellent. The steak was slightly on the rare side of medium rare, but still within the expected range. The chips were among the best I've ever had. However, the pepper sauce could be thicker, and some of the whole peppercorns were too hard. The table service could improve as well; my food was delivered, and the server left quickly before I could ask for vinegar. Additionally, the plate could have been warmed up a bit more.
