The Keys And Kitchen

We visited the keys a couple of times over the weekend in Stratford. Lovely pub, great staff the food was AMAZING!! We had sausage mash the burger ! Lovely atmosphere great pub

Popped in here last Friday as we heard the music from down the street. Was welcomed by the friendly and polite staff and just chilled out for a couple of hours listening to the excellent band. A great change from the eateries and posh pubs. A must visit if in town.

First and last visit here. Drinks too expensive, shoes sticking to the floor, bar staff all under age, rude and too busy talking to serve drinks, clearly filled with drug takers/sellers, took ages to get a drink, for the price I would expect nicer drinks, glasses dirty, toilets horrid, owners shouting at each other behind the bar, Don’t bother! The service has destroyed my confidence and I feel appalled. My id was rejected even though i am over 18 and my friends faced the same horrible barrier our night was ruined. They were rude and told us to leave despite being let into the keys a few weeks before with the same id. I feel targeted as i didn’t see any other people other than us being rejected on our ids disgusting.

I was working away from home and had a night out in Stratford its a great place to visit. I came across The Keys and it turned out to be a great night. The staff are brilliant and the customers are friendly people. They had live singer performing and the atmosphere was great. I've decided to book a weekend in Stratford to bring my wife to the keys she would love it. Can't wait.

Terrible, do not go. We were all over 18, and the bouncer at the door checked all of our IDs and let us in, yet the bartender refused to serve us. She was very rude and didn’t even bother checking whether our IDs were real, just flat out refused us based on what we ‘looked’ like. Very rude in handling and called us all ‘young junk’. Felt very offended and not even considered. We have been served here before but would never come here again. Spoke to a ‘person in charge’ but was still refused. I have been coming here for over a year and never had any issues as my id is real, however the past couple of times everyone on the bar has refused to serve me and my friends, or even take the time to check our id’s. As we walked to the bar one of the bartenders said “why are children in here?” and completely ignored us for over 20 minutes. The bouncer checked our id’s and let us in but the bartenders still refuse to serve us. Very unprofessional. I am disappointed as I am a regular customer. I have also been shouted at to get out without even having checked my id first.

Venue looked promising on a Friday night. Served drinks relatively quickly and some live music started. Most people seemed to be enjoying themselves, but there were some people present who had clearly consumed more than alcohol. We were approached and asked if we had any 'white bags ' and was groped by the same people. Other people also appeared uncomfortable around them and asked us if we knew them. We finished our drinks quickly and left. 2 security staff on the door who were uninterested and oblivious to what was going on inside. Didn 't see the point of them being there. Unlikely to visit again.

My husband and I are in holiday in Stratford and was told the keys was the place to go, so we went there and had an enjoyable night the live music was great. Only a couple of small things the drinks were very overpriced, and my husband was offered a ‘line’ in the toilets and could hear sniffing coming from inside the toilet itself. At the end of the night when we left, everyone was outside the bouncers/security removed everyone, this man whom I’m guessing was the manager came outside screaming and shouting swearing at customers who’d been in the pub to move and leave the street, not only that you could hear him continue shouting in the pub was a tense end to the night, when he could’ve asked...
