Had the best pork and Stilton sausage roll with homemade coleslaw ever today . Will definitely visit again. I should also mention the pineapple upside down cake which was equally delicious.

five stars for the pflüger alone! If you don't have a big appetit, you might need a friend to finish it! friendly staff, although it is super busy about the bank holiday, and a beautiful, characterful old building where you sit.

I recently had lunch at this charming restaurant with my friends. The food was absolutely delicious, and the location was truly unique. It felt like a step back in time, and I found it exciting to touch the ancient stone walls. The staff were very friendly and I would highly recommend this restaurant to others.

we visited shaftesbury to see gold hill, but only at the top of the street was this little caffe. the hotel is located in a very old building in the interior was full of character. we ordered lunch and were served very quickly. all freshened. the food was nice and the staff was very friendly. would recommend a visit.

A real gem of a place with great food, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The lady who I think was the manager couldn't do enough for us and easily accommodated us as a group of 8 with no issues, in fact she couldn't do enough for us. Such a lovely place to visit and the food was just delicious! (As were the drinks! Really well priced too for home cooked food and amazing looking cakes.

I have known this restaurant for a long time under different ownership. The current establishment is nice and tidy, with a serving bar where you can see the staff and place your order. The coffee is excellent and the food is just as good. I ordered a breakfast roll which was top-notch. The staff are friendly and helpful. The decor is nice and the seats are comfortable. Be cautious of the steep step down into the lounge area. They also have an upstairs area. Overall, it is a first-class place to relax.
