"What a dining gem amongst Whalley's if not the Ribble Valley's renowned eating establishments. A clever, honest fusion of English/French cuisine. New World and French wines to expertly compliment all choices and courses. Do not expect large portions, this restaurant prefers quality over quantity. As a pescatarian and a none sweet desert eater, I am often limited in choice, not here. The assiette of seafood was simpley sublime. The fruit cake accompanying the selection of cheese's is light and flavour rich. The meat eaters in my party also waxed lyrical about their Ribeye stesk and the Sirloin roast beef. If there was a suggestion to be made it is to include a black pepper biscuit/waffer to mop up the scrummy gin infused dressing of the salmon starter. This little restaurant is a serious contender for a culinary award! First visit here superb food and wine. Very impressed. We are spoilt for great food in the Ribble Valley and this is up there with too few.

the first time in whalley chose king street kitchen from the reviews. brilliant eating, had chickens superior it was so delicious, also piri piri huhn for my partner. definitiw a good choice, definitely recommend

Called in last night very last minute and shared a starter, main and cheese board with my partner. Everything was first rate, staff were accomdating and a lovely ambience in the place. We will definitely go back and would highly recommend.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The service was really attentive. I started with the French wobbly soup, which was delightful. For my main course, I had the steak, which had a nice sweetness to it, although it was a bit on the salty side. To finish off, I enjoyed a Biscoff-style donut, which was a great treat. We visited this lovely restaurant for a Sunday meal with friends and truly enjoyed every course. The salmon, roast beef, and desserts were all fantastic.
