"We stopped in while waiting for the number 8 bus and ordered two chicken strip meals and one chicken nugget meal. It took almost 10 minutes to receive our food, and when we did, the chicken strips were on plates even though we had requested takeout. After some confusion, we were given our meals in boxes and left. Unfortunately, our food was cold, but the chicken nugget meal was satisfactory according to my daughter. We returned our cold meal and received a refund, with the explanation that the staff member was working alone."

The staff is friendly, the menu has great options, and the food is delicious at a reasonable price. I tried the burger and it's a fantastic alternative to Burger King and McDonald's.

"Usually love the Knobbly Cob, haven’t been there in years due to not living in the area anymore. Was really looking forward to having a lush sandwich and some snacks, however after waiting in the queue for 10 minutes, which was ok as it was peak lunchtime rush hour (there were only 2 groups of people in front of us as well! So not enough to reason the next wait time! We were told they’d only be a minute when we finally got to the front of the queue, so we were anxious to order our food. However 10/15 minutes later there was still no sign of anyone being able to take our order, there were 3 people behind the counter sorting out everyone else’s order. I commend them for this however it is ridiculous that none of them could take mine and my mothers order. Especially when we started making movements that we couldn’t wait any longer no one decided to try and stop us and take our order, they lost our service and our money and to be honest they won’t be getting it back. Used to be a lovely place but clearly it doesn’t really care for its customers service anymore, which in this financial climate is a silly notion to take. We did think to ourselves that we always try to support our local businesses but this particular one has lost our business in the future as well."

"Looked for Indian restaurant that opened at lunchtime to take my elderly mother. Found this restaurant in the pedestrian zone by Gloucester docks . Booked it on line through open table , which worked well and we got confirmation email. This was followed up by reminder texts the day previous and on the day which was reassuring. On arrival we found a well presented restaurant, bright , clean and well decorated. We were met at the door by Jay who offered us a choice of two tables served us drinks and looked after the table very well. Food was tasty and delivered as ordered. Thoroughly enjoyable experience and mum enjoyed it also which was the reason for our visit. Definitely worth a visit if in Gloucester and only a short walk from the quays shopping area."

"Great fried chicken fast food joint. Visited this place whilst stopping and staying the night at a hotel in Gloucester. Looked up Halal food outlets on google and this place got my attention with its good reviews. I must say I was not let down. Waheed served me with great customer service. My order was prepared fast and the food was delicious I got a tower burger with the spicy chicken fillet and some spicy wings. I loved their spicy sauce too. It had quite a kick! My daughter enjoyed her bueno milkshake. Thanks boys!"
