Kitchen - Menu

Very average restaurant. We are not vegetarians, but the vegetarian menu was more inventive and tasty. The tasting menu was not memorable, the ingredients and plating repetitive, I couldn’t single out any dish that I liked more. As far as we’ve traveled in Italy, Michelin-rated restaurants are mostly disappointing. Much more delicious can be eaten in a tavern or Osteria. The service was good. There would be no reason to come back.

Wow! Not often i start a review like this but its justified. An excellent tasting menu from start to finish. Cannot fault the chef in any way... innovative, clever use of ingredients, great palate, just lovely cookery throughout. If you are in the como area and interested in good food then this place really is unmissable. An instant entry into my top three it really is that good. You wont regret the experience menu it has been fantastic. Thanks again to the chef and team.

Grazie per una serata meravigliosa e memorabile ieri 31 luglio 2021. Un giovane team dedicato e molto preparato, guidato dal manager Alberto, dimostra come possa essere gestito un ristorante perfetto. Il personale di cucina ha creato piatti impressionanti, sia tradizionali che vegetariani, con delizioso pane e burro fatti in casa. I vini selezionati per accompagnare ogni portata, e le spiegazioni riguardanti il loro palato e la loro origine erano perfette. Torneremo sicuramente. Altamente raccomandato!

Divino!! Uno dei migliori pasti che io e il mio partner abbiamo mai avuto. Il servizio è stato perfetto! Attento, premuroso e impeccabile. Il cibo era *da chef* e molto creativo. Ho preso il menu verde (vegetariano) e il mio partner ha preso il menu esperienza. Entrambi erano ottimi. Anche il burro che hanno portato per il pane era incredibile. È stato tutto delizioso, dallo champagne iniziale all'espresso finale. Come per la maggior parte delle cose sul Lago di Como... l'atmosfera era splendida. Ci è piaciuto molto questo posto e non vediamo l'ora di tornarci! Altamente raccomandato.

Highly recommend if you want to eat a lovely fine dining meal with children and not compromise on quality and experience. The lawn/garden setting is perfect, particularly for a summer lunch and we felt it was shaded enough to be quiet cool (the Prosecco probably helped too! Service was fantastic, staff very knowledgeable and accommodating to our one year old. The food was delicious, I would highly recommended the raw prawns, spaghettone with scallops and duck breast in orange sauce to anyone that would listen. All in all a very delightful lunch, one that I would remember fondly, not life changing, but a delectable meal that I will cherish.

Abbiamo avuto un'esperienza meravigliosa qui. Ad essere onesti i prezzi sono sul lato superiore e le porzioni sul basso in confronto con altri ristoranti stellati Michelin che abbiamo visitato, ma le creazioni erano (più) eccezionali. L'abbinamento del vino è stato fatto correttamente e i vini che si ottiene sono nelle migliori gamme. E tutto questo in un ambiente verde piacevole e tranquillo. Anche se abbiamo avuto la sfortuna di essere l'unico a mangiare dentro. Niente più tavoli liberi fuori a meno che la nostra prenotazione non fosse da mesi. Quando si mangia in un ristorante stellato Michelin, le aspettative sono subito più alte. Lo chef Andrea e il suo team non hanno deluso. L'attenzione per i dettagli in tutto, dall'accoglienza, alla presentazione del cibo al servizio sottile dove non si nota nemmeno che abbiano aggiunto più utensili o versato un po' più di vino per prepararti al prossimo piatto, era tutto così ben orchestrato. The star of the show (apart from the food here is the outdoor eating experience surrounded by greenery with the focal point being that massive (scots pine? tree in the centre. Seating is very comfortable, but for some reason I did feel a little uneasy and I don 't know why. Maybe it was a fear of the unknown. Staff here are very nice, however when they explained what dishes were on the way they spoke too quickly and therefore I mostly did not catch what they were saying. What would help enormously here would be a copy of the menu to be left on the table throughout the meal. (We had the 5 course tasting menu . A €60 per person wine paring is also offered, but this was too much wine for us, so...
