"We live locally, so try and give lots of places a try. We walked in and initially thought how modern and stylish it was, think New York deli restaurant. Only a few people, but Llandudno isn't too busy this week. Within a very short time, we realised it was one of those places with zero atmosphere that suck all the joy out of you. Too late for us, we had ordered. The server was walking around looking as though she didn't want to be there, barely a grunt in reply when ordering. We had each ordered the breakfast. The decaf latte was the weakest I've ever had, barely above a glass of warm milk. The hash brown and sausage were very hot, the bacon and beans, almost stone cold and the whole thing swimming in oil, not a nice experience at all. You know, the kind of breakfast you feel worse after eating. Why didn't we say something you might ask. Well we didn't see the point really, we couldn't have expected a positive outcome and we had had all the joy sucked out of us by that point and just wanted it over with. Add to that the cheapest cutlery you can imagine, with a fork I had to keep bending back into shape and you can imagine the experience we had, No wonder there was no one smiling in there, especially not the server."

I have to say that this was one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. It was delicious, hot, and served quickly. The staff were very polite and welcoming. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. Thank you.

I took my family to this restaurant for lunch today and regretted not going to the one across the street. The staff was unfriendly, they didn't check back on our table, there was no cutlery provided, the food was not good quality, and the milkshakes were terrible. The table next to us even returned their food. Visualizza piatti

We have never been disappointed at Kitchen 50 Six! Whenever we travel to Llandudno, we make sure to stop by this restaurant that we have been going to for many years. During this visit, we went there twice for lunch and enjoyed delicious meals both times. We tried a mix of sandwiches and jacket potatoes, all of which were fresh and tasty. We will definitely be returning next time we are in Llandudno, as it has a traditional charm that we love!

I visited this place today, after a 40 minute wait, the food was not great. I ordered the gammon, egg, chips and peas. The egg that came with my meal had a compleatly snotty raw yolk, the gammon was like a brick, and was served without a steak knife making it virtually impossible to cut through. This was served with a pile of mushy peas which was not stated on the menu. To make matters worse my Pepsi max was served flat. It was overall was not worth the wait.

A Cosy Café that’s Perfect for Lunch Popped in here on a wet and windswept April day, looking for a family lunch. We were NOT disappointed. This is a great location with a lovely cozy and chilled vibe, which really adds to the dining experience. Smashing coffee too – which was a much needed treat! Had a few things, which were all lovely, but it was the all-day breakfast which I especially enjoyed. Perfect portion size, piping hot and quickly served by the friendly staff. Very reasonably priced and I will be back here for sure another time, when I’m back in the area!!! Visualizza piatti

Place had a funky smell when we walked in, not a nice smell. When our drinks were being made we were given a jug of milk that was just out on the side, no fridge and no idea how long the milk had been standing there. Ordered a brunch and a cheese and onion toastie. Brunch was piping hot but tasted of greasy fat and my husband was actually sick within two hours. My toastie was not great at all. Cheap bread, not much cheese and burnt fried onions. Not very well presented either, just slapped on a plate with some very tired limp lettuce. Long blonde hair on the side of my plate as well. Young girl serving was very nice and polite.

Visited here in a trip to Llandudno last Tuesday. So good we went in twice Originally had tea and coffee here in the morning and was so impressed we went back in for lunch later the same day. We were looking for a dog friendly cafe to have some beverages upon arriving and the staff here were fabulous. Couldn't have done more and the tea and coffee were decent and competitive priced also We came back for lunch later, but we couldn't find anywhere else that was better in town. Lunch here wasn't amazing, but it it was tasty and decent value. I had the vegetarian chilli and enjoyed it. My sister had the soup and sandwich deal and enjoyed that too. I would definitely come here again. Thanks for...

"Whenever I get the inclination to write a review it’s usually because it’s so good and I want to shout about my experience to everyone… however this is not my usual 5* recommendation! As locals we have visited this cafe on a few occasions for breakfast or a coffee stop. It’s a great location, nice decor, dog friendly and delicious food. What’s not to like? Well, the staff, or more specifically the owner! She lacks any customer service skills, she smiles through gritted teeth, orders her staff around while she stands observing (or waiting for an argument . Each time we’ve visited she’s had an issue with something. Once she argued with me because I asked for my latte to be served in a cup rather than a tall glass. She proceeded to try and educate me on coffee making (I’m barista trained ! She reluctantly gave me it to me in a mug with a jug of extra milk which wouldn’t fit into the mug anyway! More recently we arrived, it was quiet, and chose to sit in the window (the largest table as we had our dog and didn’t want him to be in the way. She rushed over and demanded we sat at another table because she “couldn’t afford for us to take up a larger table”. We moved without an issue but she was very confrontational (as always and made the rest of our dining experience uncomfortable. So uncomfortable in fact that despite being ravenous we almost didn’t order. The cafe remained quiet throughout our time there, plenty of empty tables and yet she proceeded to use the larger window table to accommodate her staff, herself and a friend who popped in. How is that fair? So my advice to you as a fellow catering/ hospitality manager is… Learn from your Trip Advisor feedback, Book yourself on a free customer service course and lead by example and if you are worried about costs reduce the number of staff. 5 staff on duty in a cafe that seats approx 25 people at full capacity is not needed. Maybe the owner should put her feet up at home and let the lovely younger people do their thing. They all look so nervous around her and are almost too afraid to speak. I’m sure they’d do a far better job without her monitoring their every move. Even the Chef (her husband maybe? looks petrified of her!! Certain people are not cut out for customer facing roles and she is one of them! I’m pretty sure she doesn’t read any of these reviews as she’s been like this since my first visit 5 years ago!! What a shame. This place could be a thriving business and a welcoming village cafe but I’m sure her confrontational attitude and unwelcoming nature put people off from returning. Such a shame as the food and coffee are delightful"
