Once again, first class food, which is gluten free, so no missing out on the best tasting fish and chips. The gin and tonic and glass of wine is an added bonus!

Dine in in the outdoor pods. Fear not heat, light and rainproof doors made this a great experience. each pod could comfortably take 6 adults. Portions of our fish chips and scampi and chips were pleanty big enough. Also beer and cider is available only the weather was a bit of a downer on our visit.

it has a cute and cozy vibe, the food was good, but perhaps too intense in flavour for someone who isn’t used to spicy (korean bbq chicken). boyfriend did not enjoy his fish very much, but overall, the experience was nice. staff was polite and friendly, but i can’t give five stars due to the high price of drinks. overall enjoyed my time there, but would come pre-hydrated

We had a mixture of fish and chips, fish tacos and chicken tacos. All were really good quality and very tasty! A special mention must go to the chips which had a nice crispy outside, something you don't normally get from your average chippy! We sat in one of the on-site pods which was nice as it had its own heater, music and a sea view. So, in my opinion, well worth a visit!

The Kraken was a great experience. We got fish and chips and chicken tacos. Wow, I can't stop thinking about the tacos and the fish. This place is gluten free which is amazing and the chips were proper chips to enjoy at the sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the service was also really good. We had a 30 minute wait, but that shows how popular and must say worth it the food was.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The takeaway food was served in individual wooden pods with a sea view. They also offer alcoholic beverages and cocktails. We enjoyed our scampi, chips, salad, dip, haddock fillet, and chips. The pods can be opened up on nicer days or evenings, with doors and windows that have lights and heaters available. It was nice and cosy after a short period of time. Overall, it was a lovely little evening out.

Although the restaurant was busy, we were able to find outdoor seating without a reservation. The outdoor seats were located under a covered area, but there was not much protection from the wind. Indoor seating was also available, but we opted for the outdoor seating on this warm evening. The restaurant had many charming wooden cabins for seating, but they were all occupied due to its popularity. We enjoyed glimpses of the sea over the wooden fence and even spotted dolphins or porpoises in the bay. The food was delicious with generous portions that left us feeling satisfied.
