Kuffler - Piatti

Came for dinner without a reservation and we were lucky enough to get the last free table. A very friendly waiter served us drinks right away and the food ordered was very tasty and freshly prepared. Would return any time for food,staff and location!

Nach einem hervorragendem Operngenuss verbrachten wir auf der Loggia des Restaurants einen wunderbaren Abend mit Blick auf die Oper. Die Atmosphäre an einem lauen Sommerabend ist unübertroffen und wird nur durch die Qualität des Essens und des exzellenten Services unvergesslich. Vielen Dank!

Review is based on the terrace for a drink rather than dining. There is a wonderful terrace running along this building directly opposite the opera house. It doesn't matter if it's midday or evening sitting here and watching the comings and goings in this wealthy part of Munich is really enjoyable. Im Rahmen eines Wochenendausfluges bin ich bei Kuffler eingekehrt. Vor der Oper war ich auf der Suche nach einem leichten Abendessen. Ich habe mich für den gegrillten Hummer entschieden und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Das Fleisch war sehr zart, verfügte aber auch über Grill- Aromen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Preise sind der gebotenen Qualität angemessen.

After we visited the Bayerischer opera house we had a souper in Restaurant Kuffler.Perhaps due to the fact that it was a bit late ( 9 p.m.) or due to the fact it was a Sunday evening, anyway there were very little people in the huge restaurant.We had Carpaccio, lobster and sea devil, which were not very special. French fries and salat were extra, as well as bread.Staff was correct.

We visited Kuffer after an evening in the Bavarian State Opera. The ideal location for alfresco dining on warm summer nights! We where lucky to get a table, therefore is it highly recommended to make reservations. The menu offers a nice selection, but in the end we decided for escalope Viennese style (Wienerschnitzel). First of all you only want to sit outside so ifvthat is unavailable pick a night when it is. Service was just okay not really particularly friendly but this 4 stars. The food was very good. The steak was excellent and the fish was very good as well. We ended up talking to the people sitting next to us which made the slow service unimportant to our evening. More so the view from the terrace of the Opera and the people walking by made for a wonderful night.

Came here with my husband and in-laws on a rainy Friday lunch.The maitre d was very kind and welcoming and the menu was enticing.With a stunning view over the main square/Hofgraben, this is a classy outfit for either drinks or a sit-down meal.I had the Buvette steak salad and my dining companions had a Caesar salad and the beef tartare - all looked pretty good.The wait staff were also very pleasant and our food arrived promptly.I would definitely recommend this restaurant and was by far the stand-out meal of our trip.

Wir waren nach über einem Jahr am Samstag mal wieder hier zum Mittagessen essen.Leider erwarten wir in der Preisklasse doch etwas mehr.Unsere Freundin hatte einen Cesaerssalat bei dem Sie die Salatblätter noch selbst klein schneiden musste. Das Tatar meiner Frau war ..... wie soll man es höflich beschrieben, vielleicht am besten mit gewöhnungsbedürftig und mein Burger war geschmackvoll ok aber sah aus wie vom rettenden M.. Doch das schlimmste war die Dame in der Bedienung. Nachdem wir unseren Tisch zugewiesen und die Karten ausgegeben bekommen haben bemühten wir uns nach ca 20min die Bedienung anzusprechen ob wir Getränke bestellen dürften.
