"Incredible value for money and the food was very tasty too. Not the most appealing to look at from the outside but the inside is very cosy and nicely decorated. Polite waiting staff and very prompt service. Visit their website for special offers we were torn between 3 course lunch for £9.95 and a special Groupon offer available at the time, but either way you won't be disappointed. Was very quiet during the day and the lunch menu time, could have done with a bit of atmosphere but made for very comfortable dining. Will definitely return when in Greenock again!"

"I had high expectations for this restaurant based on the positive reviews I had heard, but I don't think I will be returning unless there are major changes in the service. The first waiter seemed in a rush, trying to take our food order before even asking about drinks. It was a bit strange considering the restaurant was not busy. When the starters arrived, there was confusion among the staff about which table they were for. The main courses were brought out while we were still eating our starters, and the server didn't even know what dish he was holding. The lack of attention to detail and communication was disappointing. The food was good, but the service really let it down. Staff were not very attentive or polite, as we were not even acknowledged when we left."

"Hmm it seemed like there was a fine layer of grease over the table. The well used menus felt really dirty and filmy, tables probably given a cursory wipe with a damp cloth; but not clean. Shockingly they put of the poppadoms and sauces, spiced onions etc on the tables before customer arrive. I was there for an our and witnessed servers flies landing on these at the vacant tables next to me which made me feel queasy as I had just consumed some from our table believing them to be fresh. Bulk Food wise we went for the buffet. Not one veggi option was available (the waiter personally escorted me to the buffet to show me that all that was available was chicken like I was a bit thick. But I was really only trying to ask if I could order an alternative) he said I could pick two from the menu. The aubergine dish I selected was, predictability, unavailable. So it was, cheap as chips , cauliflower and potatoes or potatoes and cauliflower. The potatoes were very undercooked and I'm talking raw, not al. Denti. The all you can eat buffet had a limited starter too, veggi option was three pieces of veggi pakora and two slices or battered potato. Meat option was twice the portion size. Did not ask if I wanted more. For £15 a head I would not go back. Massively over priced for bland, undercooked food. Service wasn't the best either."

"This is a fantastic place to eat. The restaurant is modern and spacious, very comfortable. Best Indian for many a mile!!! The service is second to none. Really lovely hosts The food was tremendous! Being a serial eater of Indian food all over the uk and particularly South Shields I am often underwhelmed when trying a new place. This is easily as good if not better than any Indian restaurant or take away I’ve had for many years! The mixed pakora with sauce was without doubt the very finest pakora I can ever remember. The lamb in the Baltic was perfect The naan bread and chapatis were authentic and delicious, not to mention huge. The meals we both had were exceptional. DO NOT MISS OUT IF YOU ARE ANY WHERE NEAR GREENOCK BE SURE TO COME HERE THE DELHI DELUXE , GREENOCK FANTASTIC"

"Was insulted the moment we stepped through the door. Accidentally left the door open on entry and when the waitress went to shut it I apologised as I hadn 't noticed it did not shut behind me. The waitress responded with its ok if you were raised in a barn . Decided to let that go thinking maybe she was trying her hand at banter . Was given a menu and my friend asked what flavours of milkshake was offered and the same waitress didn 't even use her words .. she just pointed to the picture of a Strawberry and chocolate milkshake then walked away. (There wasn 't anything stating either chocolate or strawberry other than the pictures so there was no other way of knowing if other flavours were offered. After this exchange we were taken aback and felt rather uncomfortable with staying. After seeing the same waitress interact with the table next to us in a perfectly friendly manner (first name basis so obviously friends of hers and ignore us again we decided to leave. Shame since I heard lovely things about the place but bad customer service led to not even trying anything from the menu."
